"I have had thus company at my house & two rental units. They were timely and professionally repaired the projects. However, if you have a certified plumber or water heater contractor install your new water heater, it can take as little as 2 to 3 hours.

The chemicals in a water softener can wear down the anode rod in the heater and shorten its life span. However, for most people, the benefits of the softener outweigh this potential drawback.
