"I had an amazing experience with Northstar Restoration. I can say it started from my first contact speaking with their receptionist, then the owner and his wonderful staff. I purchase a new built property which was not cleaned properly, the place was left with dust particles mainly in unfinished basement which spread throughout the whole house. In addition, subcontractors did not use properly coverings so garage floor as well as carpets were impacted. The owner Jay came out and explained how they could help alleviate the issues we faced. He was very thorough in his assessment and presented the options. We ended up getting our garage concrete floor cleaned, basement concrete cleaned and all mechanicals wiped downed and heap vacuum, air ducts cleaned and carpet cleaned. This was a huge project split into 3 days. All of the his technicians were extremely knowledgable and thorough. Because the project was 3 days and different areas I had 6 different technicians they were ALL outstanding. I commend Jay and all of his staff for making this a wonderful experience I could not be more pleased with the outcome. And would not hesitate to use their services in the future if I had a need."

If you're dealing with an odor in your dryer that transfers onto your clothes and linens, here's what you can do: start by cleaning the lint trap and drum with warm soapy water. Then wipe down the interior using a mixture of equal parts water and white vinegar to eliminate any lingering odors.

To get rid of odors you can try this method: take a cloth soaked in vinegar and put it inside the dryer. Run the dryer on a heat setting for 15 minutes. Conducting quick dryer maintenance can extend its lifespan. Help your dryer stay in mint condition by cleaning the lint trap before and after every cycle. This keeps leftover lint from accumulating in your dryer vent, which is one of the leading causes of household fires, according to the U.S. Fire Administration.

You can also wipe down the lint screen with dish soap every few months to keep it extra clean. A basic wipedown of the drum every few months and a deep clean of the exhaust vent once a year are beneficial, too. 

Yes, basic cleaning can be done with vacuum attachments and vent brushes, but hard-to-reach areas are best left to professionals for thoroughness.
