"We used wild safari moving llc when we had an extremely tight timeline to move our business and they came though and killed it for us. With all the stress that comes along with moving, itâ s priceless to have a company like wild safari moving llc to partner with. "I've known since early May that I would have a move to make in early July, but it was only a week or so ago that I decided to contract with a mover. So on very short notice, I contacted a few movers. One seems to have gone out of business, as I couldn't get through to them. At another I left a voicemail, but didn't get a response. But Al himself picked up the phone when I called, and was responsive to my job. He estimated that a 2-3 man crew would take about 2-1/2 hours to do my move, and he gave me a quote that was quite acceptable. Most important, he was able to accommodate me with less than a week's notice.
When the day arrived, the movers were scheduled to arrive at 10:00 a.m. Al called early that morning to say they were having an issue with one of the mirrors on the truck, and asked if it would be alright to arrive at 12:30, allowing time for the truck to be fixed. That was fine with me, as it gave me a bit more time to get my things packed and ready to go.
Three men arrived a bit early, surveyed what needed to be done, and got right to work. Loading the truck, driving to my new address (13 miles away), and unloading to just under two hours. The men were happy to do what I asked and were careful with my stuff. I consider it a successful move.
They did inadvertently leave a bag of packing materials at my old address. Al himself dropped by two days later to retrieve it.

Moving questions, answered by experts

Moving pods are most often available in three sizes: 8, 12, and 16 feet. To move a four-bedroom house, you’ll likely need two 16-foot moving pods. Of course, the exact answer depends more on your house’s square footage and the amount of belongings you have than on the number of bedrooms in the house. For example, moving a small four-bedroom house may only require one 16-foot pod and one 8-foot pod, but moving a large four-bedroom house may require more than two 16-foot pods.

Yes, you can take your potted plants with you when you move if you use sterilized potting soil. However, some states have strict guidelines about this practice, so it’s best to consult the Department of Agriculture’s regulations surrounding pest control and plant types ahead of your move.

How long it takes to move into an apartment depends on many factors, including the amount of belongings you’re bringing with you, how accessible the apartment is (do you have an elevator, or will you be walking up and down several flights of stairs with boxes?), and whether or not you’re hiring a moving company. Having said that, for a local one-bedroom apartment, it usually takes a moving company between two and five hours to move you in.

Yes, tipping each mover separately ensures that everyone on the team gets their fair share.

Moving a one-bedroom apartment yourself can range from $150 to more than $1,500, depending on distance, the amount of belongings you have, and more. On the other hand, the cost of hiring movers for a one-bedroom apartment is around $1,850 on average. You’ll save money with the DIY route, but the process is much more labor-intensive and time-consuming.
