Darryl Zellmer founded Turf & Tree Worx in 1992. Darryl had a part-time snowplowing and lawn-mowing business that he began in 1989. During the 1991 season, he worked for Evergreen Lawn Corp. During the spring of 1992, he added lawn fertilization to his business and began his endeavor full-time with Turf & Tree Worx. Running the business out of his home on the northwest side of Milwaukee, the Company grew and Darryl added several employees and more equipment. In 1995, Turf & Tree Worx rented a small business warehouse in Milwaukee.\nIn 1996, Darryl moved his residence and Turf & Tree Worx to its current location in West Bend (Town of Trenton). Due to the significant client base in the Milwaukee area and the need to be established in West Bend and the surrounding areas, Turf & Tree Worx kept the Milwaukee location while building a client base in West Bend. Turf & Tree Worx closed the Milwaukee location in the spring of 1998.\nTo date, Turf & Tree Worx has expanded its maintenance, lawn care, tree service, and snow removal functions to a full-service lawn and landscape, design/build Company. The Company is proud of its achievement and attributes success to offering a variety of services with a teamwork approach coupled with a high standard of expectations. By working together and placing, a high value on every employee’s role, Turf & Tree Worx has created an atmosphere that employees and clients appreciate.

Rototilling questions, answered by experts

Repair costs typically range from $200 to $1,500, depending on the issue, such as leaks, burner malfunctions, or thermostat failures. Complex repairs involving heat exchanger replacement can be more expensive.

It can be difficult to determine the cause of a coolant leak unless you have the unit inspected by a certified professional. Most coolant leaks are caused by wear and tear on seals and joints. This typically happens five years after a unit is installed. Additionally, faulty or worn compressors, evaporator coils, and condenser coils can also cause leaks.

You can replace baseboard heaters with many other types of HVAC systems, including forced-air furnaces, hydronic heating, and heat pumps. Each one has its advantages and disadvantages, so the best choice for you will depend on your budget, preferences, and the design of your house. If you aren’t sure which option is right for you, ask an HVAC pro for guidance.

While it's generally safe to stay in a home with a coolant leak if your home is properly ventilated, it's important to have a professional come out to assess the situation right away. You should evacuate your home if you notice any powerful fumes. Additionally, you should leave your home if you are experiencing headaches or dizziness.

Once installed, there are very few downsides to heated floors. Of course, there is always the potential for a breakdown in the system. That is rare, however, and most issues, if any, come from a failure with the thermostat, which is usually easy to access and replace. The downside is that heated floors are more expensive to install than other types of flooring. If you are installing in an older home, they can also raise the floor level, which can pose some issues with doors and flooring transition strips.
