"I spoke to Rob of Dryer Vent Wizard and explained what I needed. I was able to have him out to my home a few days later. He arrived right on time. I needed a fresh install from the dryer to the wall plus a new vent. Rob give a once over what I had and clearly explained all of my options. After deciding on a course of action work was completed in a very timely manner. The workspace was left cleaner than he found it. Dryers pull in air from a circular opening in the back of the dryer. The dryer's heating element heats the air, and a blower fan circulates the hot air through the drum. The hot air travels outside the dryer through a vent or is cooled by a heat exchanger that condenses the steam into water and sends it down a drainpipe or to a containment compartment.

Instead, the lint can get stuck further in the vent, creating a blockage and making the problem worse. You need a scrubbing tool, such as the rotating brush head on a dryer cleaning kit, to push the lint out of the ductwork.
