We found them when we went to the home show and I was impressed by how long they've been in the business.  We checked them out and we also went by their place of the business before we even enter into any kind of contract to know how they operated.  We've been just very happy with the business and astonished on how they got the job done.  We were impressed with the gentleman that we dealt with as far as the sales and the men who showed up; got the job done in about seven hours, cleaned up the mess and were out of here and you've never known they were here.  They were in a higher end.  We really love our new roof. 

The long winter and wet, cold spring caused major delays in getting started. Once the temperature rose and conditions improved, the job took about eight days total.  The same crew of five or six was dependable and very methodical. Work was done one section at a time, with good attention to keeping the roof water-tight, although we did not have any significant rain during the process. Phil Dall was good to keep us informed as the job progressed, and did a good job answering questions. We even went up into the attic to make sure all the plywood was properly placed at the crown, to avoid any gaps. Other roof replacements in our neighborhood have been done with larger crews (16 to 18), which made the jobs go much more quickly (two or three days), so that is one big difference--this crew of five or six will take longer to complete any size roof than a crew of 16. We had a large roof (about 66 squares), multiple ridges & valleys, which did take longer to install. There was no damage to the stucco chimney or the dormer, which was a concern of mine. Clean-up was done daily, and left only a few stray nails and lime green plastic fasteners on the grounds. The nails were placed by air-nail guns, with six nails per shingle, by my count. A messy process during the tear-off, but well worth the final result. The new roofing and gutters look great, and will provide many years of protection. We would recommend Sheriff-Goslin Roofing Company, with one caveat--be patient.

I have an older home with a four seasons greenhouse that was added to replace a greenhouse that was on the home when I
purchased it.  Since it was installed fifteen years ago, I have had leakage problems when we had heavy rain from where it connected to the roof.  I also have two garages and had a two-layer roof that was around 40 years old.  (20 on the second layer)   When I had a few minor problems a few years ago, Bill Fleak came out, did some simple repairs and told me I had a few more years before I needed a replacement (a refreshing change in today's sales oriented world).  After all the hail last year,  I called Bill again and he told me that I hadn't incurred any damage but should plan to replace within the next year or so.  This spring, I decided it was time, so Sherriff Goslin was who I called.  They are probably not the cheapest or quickest but they do a quality job with a smaller crew (I appreciated that there weren't 20 people around my home).  I was kept apprised of the progress and all issues that did arise were quickly resolved including the greenhouse leakage problem.  I love the color and the unique locking shingle design.  When they did finish up, there was a small area that still needed to dry due to all the rain and, sure enough, Bill put a tarp over it and came out and made sure it was completely cured on the next sunny day.  A wonderful experience if purchasing a roof can be called that.

They were excellent and they did an excellent job. Everything is working fantastically.  The roof was extremely damaged and they had to replace a large portion of it. Their professionalism was top shelf. I would definitely use them again.

Bill Fleak was punctual, professional, and knowledgable when he came to give an estimate. He thoroughly walked the roof and gave me his recommendations, and provided options. Sherriff-Goslin's bid was the most responsive. The work started on time, and was completed on time. The roof looks great.

I contacted Sherriff Goslin roofing in early spring and dealt with Phil Dall for the entire project.  He came to my home, did a a roof inspection, told me what was needed and the approximate cost.  I was advised during my initial meeting by Mr. Dall that he believed there were 3 layers of shingles and a complete tear off would be needed and this was included in my estimate.  I contacted Mr. Dall when I was ready for the roof to be replaced, a start date was established and his crew arrived as scheduled.  Mr. Dall called me early on the first day to confirm there was a third layer which meant a complete tear would be required but since this had been discussed before hand it was not an unexpected additional expense.  The crew cleaned up at the end of every day so well you would not know they had been there working unless you checked on the progress of the job.  
I definitely will use this company again for any roofing needs I may have in the future.  It was for me a wonderful experience from beginning to end.

About 20 years ago  we had Sheriff-Goslin put a new roof on our house.  Their price quote was the best of several companies we contacted and their shingles were beautiful, but the deciding factor was Bill Fleak, the representative we talked to.  Bill is just a very nice man, very professional and very knowledgeable.   We could not have been happier with the installation and the quality of our roof, and for next 18 years we had not a single complaint. In fact, we recommended Sheiff-Goslin to everyone we know. 
Two years ago our home suffered a large amount of hail damage and of course we called Sheriff-Goslin for an estimate on roof replacement.  We were very happy that again it was Bill Fleak who came to look at our roof.  We got another great estimate for the new roof.  Our entire roof was replaced, including a tear-off of the old one. The roofers cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day and Mr. Fleak came by regularly to be sure the job was going well. Again were very pleased with the roof installation and the quality of our new roof.
 Last year our roof developed a leak over one of our bedrooms. Mr. Fleak came out as soon as we called, inspected the roof and made the necessary repair himself right away.  We've had no problem since.  Once more, we were happy with the quality of the work and the professionalism of the Sheriff-Goslin Company.  Our experience with them has been totally positive. We would not hesitate to recommend this company to others and will definitely have them install our next new roof - hopefully in another 20 years!

They are excellent all the way across the board. They have a special interlocking shingle that goes very well with our home. They took their time and did a professional job without rushing. I would definitely use them again.

It was my job to have the chimney secure and once I did this, they came back to add the flashing on. I called them out on Monday to tell them that the chimey was finished and they said they would come out by then end of the week and they did. They came out on Thursday! They were men of their word. They were just as neat as little elves. They cleaned up the yard better than what it was before they came. They were excellent.

The workers came to the home, began their job, tore the roof off, placed covers on roof as needed for overnight rains/winds until they could return the next day.  They were timely and professional.  Everything was cleaned up at the end of the job as well.  Phil was out there to watch them periodically and communicate to the roofers what needed taken care of and completed.

Both times we were extremely pleased with the personal attention we got from this company, the quality of the product and the performance of the installers. When our roof developed a weather-related leak 2-years after our last new roof was installed, Sheriff Goslin came out within a few hours of our call, did a thorough examination of the roof, both inside and out, and correctly diagnosed and repaired the problem. We've recommended this company to many of our friends, and would never call anyone other than Sheriff Goslin to do our roofing.

This company is top of the line but the price was the most reasonable of all our estimates. The tiles on the roof are very attractive not like any other roof I've ever seen. We have what is called a rolled edged roof not many companies work on these types of roofs anymore. This company went out of their way to satisfy every request we had. I hope they know how much we appreciate everything above and beyond they did for us. I recommend this company to anyone that wants a job done right the first time. We would difinitely use them again.

Phil came on time for the estimate and brought his own ladder and climbed up on the roof. He finished his inspection and came in and drew a diagram that had all the dimensions. I was concerned about replacing the skylight but he assured me that it would be profesionally done. Phil bought the skylight and the crew showed up on time, completed the job and were professional in every detail. The yard was cleaned up and you could not tell that anyone had even worked at the house that day. If every service company ran this effeciently the world would be a much better place to live. The roof looks great and I couldn't be happier.

very well, workers were very responsive to my many FAQ's and ?'s about where (location) of bad decking and thus new decking I did inspect roof after they were finished and found "everything looked good" only complaint -there was a metal "brace" found in the yard hidden by some landscaping-- upon finding this I threw it away.-- the brace was a danger. and why didn't Mr dall call me after the job to see how satisfied I was ????? "service after the smile"

I knew one of the guys who worked for the company and that gave me a lot of confidence that the work was going to be okay. I felt that their prices were about average. I give them A's for their work and services.

They have very unique shingles, octagon shape and 2 ½ feet in diameter, they interlock. Of all the years I have lived here, neighbors shingles blow off, but I’ve never lost one. Bill Fleck told me that if I ever lost one, to call him and he’d fix it free of charge. I would definitely hire them again. They do fantastic work and they clean up after themselves, leaving your place as it was when they came out!

Highly recommend talking with Phil Dall. He is professional and experienced. He isnt pushy and responded promptly. They have an excellent warranty and products to go along with their 100 plus years in business. Yes, 100 plus. They arent cheap but they are well worth it.
