Customers say: Quality work

"I was contacted quickly (within an hour) and the plumbing job was easily scheduled. Ryan Lepak asked for a digital pic in preparation for the job and it was scheduled within the week. He did the repair, showing me faulty parts and explained the reason to replace as needed. He purchased the parts and both sink faucet and tub faucet work like new. It was done correctly, cleanly, quickly, and was a pleasant experience. I expected the cost to be more than estimated, considering the need for parts, but parts were included. It cost less than expected, and was reasonable. This plumber exceeded my expectations."

"We has a pipe burst late afternoon on a Friday. All plumbers were closed. I left messages at multiple plumbers. One answering service responded and said they would contact their person. It is now over 2 weeks later and Anderes is still the only one who replied. He called Sat. afternoon, they came that day and repaired the pipe. They were very courteous, professional, and efficient. I will be using them for all plumbing needs from now on."

"We hired them to waterproof and repair our basement. They did a great job, and they have great customer service. We had a couple complaints when they left, and when we called them, they immediately took care of them with no hassel. They also called us like a week later to ask how things went and actually paid attention to what we had to say. There was torrential downpour that started same day they finished, and the basement was completely dry. There would have been puddles all over before."

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

The regulations around whether drain pipe installers need to hold licenses or certifications differ based on where you live and the type of drain pipe installed. Municipalities have varying rules and regulations about who can and can’t perform plumbing work. However, we recommend hiring a certified plumber to install or modify your drain lines. Licensed plumbers will perform a high-quality, professional installation, which translates to a lower risk of clogs and leaks in the future. Use Angi’s state licensing tool to confirm the license status of your potential plumber before hiring them to install your drain pipe.

Pipes most often burst during winter and early spring because those seasons experience the coldest temperatures that can freeze pipes. Pipes typically begin to freeze when the outside temperature falls below 20 degrees Fahrenheit—but it’s not a hard and fast rule.

The largest risk is any period of time when outdoor temperatures fall below freezing for six hours or more. That’s an average winter night in many areas of the United States, so it’s best to take precautions before winter begins, like insulating your pipes.

Yes, and no. Your shower, toilet, and sink all connect to the same main drain, but the secondary drains going from each fixture to the main drain are usually separate. This isn’t always the case—especially in older homes—but since toilets contain black water and showers, tubs, and sinks have grey water, toilets are more regulated and come at a greater risk of contamination. It’s best to keep these drains separate using individual waste collection for this reason.

Touchless faucets are reliable. However, proper maintenance is necessary to keep them running flawlessly. Keep the nozzle area and sensor clean to promote the best functionality. Additionally, consider where the touchless faucet you choose gets its power. Battery-operated models will need regular battery replacements to ensure reliability, and the touchless function won't work in a hardwired version during a power outage.

When you put baking soda and vinegar down the drain, they chemically react and help break down clogs. It’s not going to work for every type of clog, however. For example, it’s not the best way to get rid of grease buildup. For grease, you should try boiling water and white vinegar instead.
