"Everything went very well. They were quick to respond by phone and quick to come out for an estimate. I asked a lot of questions and all were answered politely and professionally. After getting several estimates from different companies, I decided on A Better Way. Costs were all pretty much the same, but I was impressed with their professionalism and that they are a local company. They also had the best guarantee for parts and service, 5 years. One thing to note that I learned from all of the companies estimates, is that parts and service does not mean totally free. All companies charge a trip fee if you do need service. But ABW was slightly cheaper. After I called to confirm, they were able to install 2 days later. Installation went smoothly and no surprises (costs). I've been running the air conditioner almost consistently for a few weeks and have not had any problems.show more

I called my usual heating/cooling service (NOT Absolute Comfort Services) this morning and they told me that they were charging OT rates today (Friday) and they could not get anyone to me today. "The work went well. The technician showed up early and was able to finish the job considerably earlier than the time window quoted. Identified a problem with the furnace inducer motor but noted that replacement should be covered under warranty. Also noted water leak in furnace exhaust line. No problems noted with air conditioner. Took and email pictures of key components and observations. Total cost with tax was $262.40. Got ~ $50 discount by combining furnace and air conditioner inspection in same trip.show more
