"After spending a good amount with a different contractor to remodel our main floor, we had to settle with the fact that a basement remodel was likely not in our short term plans. However, after taking a meeting with Matrix, we were pleasantly surprised that a substantial remodel was not out of the question after all. We were honestly so focused on the fact that something could get done that we didn’t nit pick on the finishes and some of the details, but wow were we impressed by the quality and workmanship of the end product. It's how I came about the referral - as well as their Facebook ads. Not sure if they bit off more than they could chew, but communication has been awful if not non-existent. The home visit seemed great! But I had to email them for the quote afterwords. Then a visit to the showroom a month later was dirty, plant dirt lying around, no bathroom available to the customers, giant weeds outside of the building they purchased. If you're presenting yourself as professional contractors, appearance of a showroom where you host customers is a reflection of your work. I didn't hear from them in over 4 wks. I emailed & was met with an excuse & zero delivery of promise for final proposal. We are taking our business elsewhere. We just wasted 3 months for nothing."
