"Horrible customer service and the product is only getting worse over time. I have ordered 16 shutters from them over 5 separate orders during the last two years. A recent order late last year came with parts missing and getting replacement parts was a hassle because I had to provide pictures. How do you provide pictures of missing parts? My most recent order arrived without the mounting strips and blocking strips being pre-drilled. I received the screws and screw covers but no holes for them. After multiple back and forth with "Angie" from customer service I was forwarded a poorly spelled response from their supplier stating "usually" they don't pre-drill holes. Usually? All of my other shutters over the last two years were pre-drilled. I was then told it was my fault because this order was a single panel shutter vs all my previous orders being dual shutters and I would have to pay to get replacement strips with pre-drilled holes in them. What does a single vs a dual shutter have to do with whether or not holes are drilled in hanging and blocking strips?"

The Blind Lady specializes in quality custom window treatments that are made in the USA. These blinds and shades are: honeycomb shades, wood blinds, all Hunter Douglas proprietary shades, vertical blinds and shutters. Once purchased, your window treatments will be installed by The Blind Lady, a certified Hunter Douglas installer, or one of her associates. Drapery consultation of soft window treatments: drapery, valances, ect is also available.

"From the first phone call with Jane, I was hooked on working with her. Jane worked within my budget (even though I originally didn't know what my budget was), paired down my options and gave expert advise on what would work best. The installation took place in December and January during some of the coldest days of the year and one of the items was cracked (I'm assuming due to the cold weather) and they sent it back the very same day and the manufacturer turned it in one day. Installation of all 8 window treatments was efficient and tidy with precise attention to detail. My husband is extremely picky and tends to be a perfectionist and he was THRILLED with the installation. Jane was completely hands on, ensuring that everything was perfect by informing me when the order was placed, scheduling installation within the week the items were delivered to her warehouse, stopping by during installation (on multiple days mind you) and following up. Jane knows her product and competition because she has been in the business for many years and she's a savvy business woman. I highly recommend Jane and her team, they were outstanding."
