"Bob is above and beyond the BEST furniture assembler I have ever met. His professionalism was a +10plus+. He never took a break. Hard Worker. His assistant Jean also was non stoppable… Both working together like they’ve been with each other forever. What’s most Important to me Bob and Jean both had a KIND DEMEANOR. Who wears the trousers. JEAN ! . Project -Murphy Bed .. When Bob and Jean finished we said our goodbyes. It became quiet at home. I noticed the instruction book was on my counter. I could not believe how thick it was.. 100 and something pages. That’s Crazy Amazing. Thank You Bob and Jean .What a Team . Jane G. Murphy Bed is Perfect."

Small jobs welcome

"He has done work with me before, he's put in the floor for me, has done patio doors. He is very good at what he does, very particular, I like the jobs that he has done. I've also seen a cottage that he built and he's been working on construction for a few years. He is very reliable!"

"The handyman I hired was the owner and came from Sheboygan to New Berlin. Showed up on agreed day and time. His hourly rate was by far the best I found. He did all the work in a timely manner even though I didn't have enough material to complete the job but got the main part I couldn't do done. Very little waste of materials and he saved me the smaller cut pieces I could use for trim pieces. I would definitely hire him again!"

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

In most cases, late May or early June are the most popular times to open a pool, depending on your location. It’s a good idea to open your pool when the outdoor temperature sits consistently above 65 to 70 degrees (F). At this point, algae will begin to flourish in your water, so opening the pool and adding the proper chemicals will avoid excessive pool algae growth.

Pool pumps should work discreetly and quietly. If you hear loud screeching or grinding sounds from your pool pump, it’s a good indication that its motor is starting to fail and may need replacing.

It’s not ideal to swim in a cloud pool, as it can be a sign of algae, bacteria, or calcium buildup as well as chlorine, pH, or alkalinity imbalances. It is best to avoid cloudy water in pools until you determine the cause of the color change.

Yes, you can put too much shock in a pool, and it is crucial to follow the directions on the product you are using. Adding excess shock can upset the chemical balance, make the water cloudy, have adverse effects on swimmers, damage pool equipment or surfaces, and even encourage certain types of algae to grow. If you have over-shocked your pool, perform a water test and adjust the chemicals as necessary. The pool's chemical balance will eventually return to normal as the excess chlorine dissipates over time.

The only pools that don’t need grounding are those without electrical components, such as small inflatable pools. Any outlet around a pool should be a GFCI to cut the current if the outlet gets too wet. At the very least, the pool’s electrical should be plugged into a GFCI outlet, if not a dedicated GFCI breaker. Check local guidelines and requirements to ensure you’re following all safety regulations.
