The initial project of enlarging existing sump pump hole and installing a second one on the other side of the basement where they also repaired a crack in the basement wall went O.K. Except for a few minor complaints, the past two years have been fine. At our annual maintenance check this year (2-16-23), the guy supposedly checked everything including putting in new battery where needed thus charging their $150 fee. Four days later (2-20-23), we have them back again to replace the entire black box on wall that contains the battery he previously replaced as the sump pump float had stuck a couple days later. Fine and dandy, but they charged us yet another $150 for this visit also. $300 in exactly four days. Totally unacceptable. I find it hard to believe that that black box could have gone bad in just the four days since he was here. Their Customer Service Relations that they pride themselves on is non-existent. They aren't even willing to compromise, discuss or come to some sort of an agreement to make both parties happy. They wanted me to change my review on their website, but I refuse to. I'm not going to lie. I would not recommend them to anyone. Yet, their email firmly stated they appreciate our business. Unbelievable!

After Sure-Dry repairs, there are flooding and ice hazards. Water pooling on the patio. Repair patches have discoloration and plant outgrowth.

Sure-Dry made an appointment for service for the second day after I called. Their service tech, Dylan Morin arrived on time after phoning he was on his way. He checked my problem and answered all of my questions and made me feel a whole lot better that my system was functioning properly. He also repositioned the alarm to allevate that problem. He then explained some of my system to me and I learned things about it that I did not know. Thank you again Dylan, you are an asset to Sure-Dry Basement Systems Inc.

Three service installers arrived on time.  In fact they called to say if they can arrive earlier which I was happy they can.    They put down a rug to protect my floor and plastic to protect the stairs going down to the basement (carpet).  They went right into the installation.  They were all very professional and kind.  They were very careful working in our home and cleaned up after they finished.   They then explained to me about the defective pump emergency alarm and the battery it takes.  Also explained how to replace the batteries in two controller boxes.  Now that this job is complete I will have "peace of mind" that my basement will not flood.   I only had one pump before, now I have two electric and one battery backup sump motors. Thanks Sure Dry Basement Inc. and Angie's List.  I recommend them both to everybody.

The work was done exactly as they had proposed.  Work crew was very respectful and careful to keep dust to a minimum.  Completed the job in one day as promised.  The only small disappointment was the new concrete that was used was a  sand mix and when dry the surface is not as smooth as I anticipated.  The company did send someone out to look at it and explain the product they use. Overall the drainage system solved our problem and is working quite well.

It was fantastic. The service was spectacular, even came and helped me take down part of my fence so I didn't have to do it by myself. Very helpful, very timely. They got done ahead of schedule and everything was cleaned up. I couldn't even locate the holes in the backyard after they dropped in the anchors.

This was a terrible transaction. Sure-Dry was more expensive than other options, but we went with them based on an expectation of higher quality. They promised to protect our yard and to install an Andersen window. The Andersen window was specified in writing on the quote. When I arrived home the day the work was done I noticed there was damage to the yard. It appeared the crew was just careless and drove or slipped off the plywood they put down. Also, the clean-up in the basement was below expectations. There was quite a bit of dust all over the room and especially below the window. Ceiling tiles were left pushed above the ceiling. I cleaned up and chalked this up to a bad decision. A few days later I was working in the basement and looked at the window. I noticed there was no Andersen mark on the window. I did some checking and found it the window was a different brand. I also realized the crew had not left behind any warranty information on the window. I called the rep the next day and he agreed to look into it. He called back and said that operations had changed the brand of windows being installed without sales knowing. This seemed very fishy given the lack of documentation left behind. It felt very much like a bait and switch. After several calls back and forth (I found Sure-Dry to not be very responsive overall during this whole project) the rep claimed the window installed was the same quality as an Andersen, but he offered to have a crew come out and change the window if I wanted. I certainly didn't want Sure-Dry to do any more work on my property, so I declined. He later offered a $100 credit (2.5% discount). Before I could even call to accept I found out Sure-Dry had already charged the balance to the credit card number I had given for the deposit. They did this without authorization. Rather that deal with them anymore I just dropped it. I found Sure-Dry to be well below expectations for quality and responsiveness. Due to the question about whether this was a bait and switch and the unauthorized credit card charge, I found questionable business practices.

Men who installed were polite and hard working.
If you are using their coupon, you must mention it before signing the contract.

We looked at a couple of different companies and we felt that they were the best company.

They did a nice job. Their crews were always on time and polite. After they started the job, the damage to the foundation was found to be twice as extensive as originally estimated. They did a good job and had the project completed before the weather turned bad. There was a small gap in the sill plate, but they came out and completed that as soon as it was brought to their attention.

Overall good experience. They had to reschedule my original delivery date because they ran out of units. Thought that was a little strange because I had to wait several weeks for them to order them initially.

Dan was on time, friendly, and informative. He explained what he was doing and what he thought was happening each step of the way. He was able to provide a solution that minimized cost and admitted that it was a job that Sure-Dry would not do; in fact he explained how I could do it myself. I am confident that Dan focused on solving my problem with minimum impact and was not looking for ways to create business. Because of this, I will definitely call upon Sure-Dry should we have future problems with our basement.

Dan didn't feel any quote was necessary since the problem should be corrected with the changes he made. Although I felt I should pay him something for his corrective work and advice, but he indicated that that wasn't the way they worked. It was no charge.
I was very impressed with Dan's professionalism and knowledge and extremely impressed by the fact that he had corrected the problem as a matter of customer service, but with no charge.
They have made a customer for life. I will definitely recommend Sure-Dry Basements to anyone who needs such work.

Sure-Dry Basement Systems, Inc were a few little glitches that they came back immediately and took care of. They were prompt and did the work as they said they would. They listened to our concerns and powered through. Anything that we had to call them on, they took care of it in a day or two. We were very pleased with them.

They were knowledgable, came on time, and did it in a timely manor. The repairs seemed to be effective, but time will tell.

Their customer serivce was excellent. We had a couple of issues and they came back the same day to address the issues.
