"Dave arrived early. We discussed the job and he got right to work. After grading, there was a short wait until the gravel arrived. The job was done to my satisfaction by 11:30 AM. Very personable and easy to talk with. He did exactly what I asked. Driveway is flat and compacted and has already withstood heavy rain and large delivery trucks. Recommended."

That’s why Lawns R Us has committed itself to offering a wide range of landscaping services throughout the wonderful city of Pewaukee, Wisconsin. From installing large commercial landscapes to creating small intimate gardens, Lawns R Us will get it done on time and on budget.

"We signed a contract with them to do our landscaping in the Spring of 2019 as their quote was fair and they seemed knowledgeable and professional. Then, we never heard from them on the start of our landscaping. After several attempts to connect with them our voicemails and calls were unanswered. When we did finally connect with someone they would either have to call us back or we were next on the list. Several follow ups and they finally came out and did our landscaping later in the summer. Now we have a low spot on the side of our house where grass never grew, a dead tree and dead flowers that are under warranty and after reporting this to them months ago, here we sit. We were promised someone would be out last week to rectify and now we can’t even get a hold of anyone. We are frustrated beyond belief with this business!"

Leaving the tree stump and letting it rot is never a good idea, as this leads to insect infestations and other frustrations. It's usually best to remove the stump at the same time you remove the tree.

Once you confirm a tree is dead, you should remove it. Dead trees eventually fall, and larger trees in particular can cause damage to rooftops, fencing, flowers, and other objects. Some people prefer to leave or even carve a leftover stump, but we recommend removing it if possible. You can often dig out smaller trunks with a shovel once they have died and dried out. Usually, trees cannot grow back after their stump has been ground, but some very hearty types of trees can. For example, if you have a black locust or Redford pear, the grinding will need to go deep to prevent them from growing back.
