"They did a great job painting the ceiling and walls in the kitchen, dining room, living room and hallway; everything looks great. Everyone I dealt with was incredibly nice, easy to talk to and had no problems making changes that I asked for.
Doug Jenkins Painting was hired by the company remodeling my kitchen and if it wasn't for Doug stopping by on his own accord the project might not have remained on schedule. The remodeling project manager hadn't scheduled the painting, hadn't updated Doug on what was being painted, hadn't told Doug that one wall would be done in semi-gloss and hadn't insured that the site was ready for painting; Doug's pro-active approach caught the problems and kept the project on schedule. The one thing the remodeling company got right was hiring Doug Jenkins Painting and I plan on using his company in the future.

"I would totally recommend this company! Ariel went above and beyond for me when replacing my roof and gutters! Ariel would call me and let me know he was on the way or if he was running even 5 minutes behind. My house looks great and I will be using them again come spring to start replacing some of my windows. Thank you Ariel! Your crew was great, too."

"Very pleased! Mitch replied within 1/2 hour of me requesting a quote on Angie's List (on a holiday weekend). He said he would meet me at my home at 8:30 AM the next work day, was there at 8:15 with a trailer full of landscaping tools, all clean and neatly organized. Provided proof of insurance as requested. Great guy, did a nice job on our gutter cleaning and some light tree trimming. I am having him do our fall lawn cleanup and next year's lawn service based on the quality of our initial engagement. Thank you Mitch!"

"The service provided by Daniel was beyond expectations. He was prompt answering any of my questions prior to scheduling, he arrived early, and he evening provided images of the spotless gutters during his cleaning. Some of the houses in my neighborhood can be in tight proximity of each other. I’m one of the “lucky” ones where the space between my neighbor’s house and my house is roughly about a yard and half. When I spoke to Daniel about my neighbor’s concern of accessing her roof, he was very considerate and creatively found a solution, accessing my adjacent gutters via a harness. Crisis averted! I would highly recommend Daniel’s services to anyone."

Sandblasting Services FAQs, answered by experts

Sanding and pressure washing serve different purposes in deck maintenance, so one is not necessarily better than the other. Pressure washing is ideal for annual cleaning to remove dirt, grime, mold, and mildew. Sanding is a deeper restoration method used to smooth rough surfaces, remove an old finish, and prepare the wood for a new coat of stain or paint. The ideal process for refinishing a deck is to first clean it (with a power washer), then sand it, and finally apply the new stain or finish. While cleaning should be done annually, sanding and staining are typically needed only every one to three years.

Regular sealing and repainting help maintain the restored surface’s durability.

Your pro will most likely bill you at an hourly rate of $50 to $80 per hour to sandblast a door due to its small size. This type of job won't take long, so if you have other surfaces that need cleaning, schedule those tasks at the same time to get your money's worth from your pro's visit.

Sand is a common sublayer for hardscape features like driveways, paver patios, and more. Most projects that involve sand require a 1-inch layer to promote evenness, drainage, and weight distribution. For further drainage, most projects have a 6-inch minimum layer of gravel beneath the sand.

Sandblasting is useful when you need to strip material off a hard surface. Common reasons to sandblast are to remove paint, rust, or get a surface ready for a new material. You aren’t limited to surfaces like walls either—you can sandblast rusted tools, bicycle frames, cement, bricks, and many others. If what you’re sandblasting is still structurally sound, sandblasting can be a fast and inexpensive way to revive the original material.
