"Working with them has been a breeze! We had them replace the last few windows we needed in a our recently purchased home. Each person we have spoke with has been knowledgeable! And we got a surprise thank you package in the mail with some amazing cookies!! The guys that came to do the install were kind, curious and efficient. Thy We have two kiddos and the guys joked around with them and were funny! The owner of the company (Rich) reached out to us the same day as the install to make sure we were satisfied with the experience and the work done. While it's generally not recommended to install a separate pad, a compact underlayment might be used in some situations, though this typically requires professional installation. An acoustic underlay may also be considered in commercial spaces or multi-level homes where noise reduction is a priority.

Impervious or vitreous tile and vinyl flooring work best for the kitchen. These surfaces are non-porous (or have a very low porosity) that can stand up against spills, splashes, and plumbing leaks. Some natural stones are also a good fit, but keep porosity in mind. You may need to seal them to avoid stains and water damage to the subfloor.
