"I think we got a coupon. It was very quick and easy. The carpet cleaning was very thorough and very clean. It didn’t take too long; I thought it would take longer and it didn’t. We even had some tough spots like the traffic areas. Everything was really good. With regard to price, they were very reasonable. We had done a couple of quotes through other people. In fact, we even considered just getting a Steamfast. But when we read how they cleaned, it turned us to them. I referred them to my neighbors."

"Jeremy showed up right on time. He cleaned the carpet so quietly and efficiently even our normally high strung dog didn't notice him much. He was up front about the things that could and couldn't be fixed and knowledgeable about cleaning carpet. We even had Pad Injection done at the site of a couple of really bad pet soiling areas. The whole house smells nice and clean now, and the carpets look great. There were a few spots that couldn't be gotten totally clean due to abuse on our part (really we should vacuum more often) but it looks fantastic. He took extra time at the end with his UV light to look for any remaining pet stains."

Carpets can turn brown after cleaning due to a phenomenon called "wicking." It occurs when deep-seated dirt and moisture rise to the surface as the carpet dries because of excessive water or improper rinsing. Additionally, not allowing the carpet to dry thoroughly before walking on it can lead to browning.

Vinegar and baking soda can effectively remove old carpet stains, and there are a few common methods for application. One method involves applying them separately: sprinkle baking soda over the stain, let it sit for 15 to 30 minutes, then vacuum it up. Afterward, blot the area with a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water. Another method combines the ingredients on the stain to create a foaming reaction that helps lift it. To do this, pour a generous layer of dry baking soda over the stain. Then, in a spray bottle, mix distilled white vinegar with warm water and a few drops of dish soap, and spray this solution over the baking soda. Let the mixture sit for several hours until dry, then wipe or vacuum up the residue and blot the area with a clean towel. You can repeat the process if the stain persists.

You’ve tackled the pee stain on the carpet, but that smell still lingers in the air. Yuck! Fortunately, you can use certain sprays to help remove the odor. A homemade baking soda spray, made with 1/4 cup of baking soda and 2 cups of water in a spray bottle, can help remove the smell of pee. You can also use an enzymatic cleaner directly on the pee stain to deodorize it.

You can clean vomit stains out of a carpet by first rehydrating the stain with a solution of warm water and mild detergent. Allow the solution to penetrate the stain and break up the dried material. Afterward, blot the stain to remove it. Don’t rub, as this can damage carpet fibers and push the stain deeper. Deodorize with a vinegar solution once the stain is completely gone.
