"I was wanting to have a hole in my plaster repaired and repainted so I contacted Investment Painting Contractors.  As I was talking with the contractor I mentioned that I wanted to replace my tub with a tub surround and he said he had a licensed plumber that he could recommend.  I asked for an estimate on time and cost for the project and it was within my budget so I hired them.  Both the plumber and the painter showed up when they said they would and worked hard and long hours. 

The plumber did a nice job with the tub surround.  It was difficult and they ended up having to knock out a wall in the closet adjacent to the bathroom to fit the surround into the bathroom.  The plumber said it was the worst surround he has put in during his 20 year career.  The repaired drywall is perfect around the tub surround. 
The painter does an excellent job painting.  He is very meticulous and takes the time to do the job right.  I love the way my bathroom turned out . . . perfect.  My daughter's room was also painted and she wanted a chalkboard wall on one wall.  She is also very pleased with the work.  You cannot even see where the ceiling had to be repaired.  Excellent work.  The painter has an excellent eye for color and gently recommended the best options for making the rooms look their best.  I am so happy with the way everything turned out. 
The plumber and the painters were very personable and honest about the work that they were doing.  Both were very polite, as well."

"Steve is the best plumber. He returns calls promptly, he arrives when promised or calls if delayed and his competitively-priced work is expertly and efficiently completed. I have used this plumber for years during large remodeling projects and smaller plumbing jobs like this last one. The toilet that needed to be replaced was only three years old and used primarily by guests. I was proud of myself for getting such a good (cheap) price on it until Steve told me while he was installing it (in his charming accent) "you gonna have problems with this one". He was right and three years later he replaced that overflowing, persnickety nighmare of a toilet with a new Kohler. I no longer wonder and worry what the toilet will do when a guest asks to use that rest room. Steve replaced the burned out instant hot water heater and kitchen faucet while working in very tight quarters and granite counter tops. No mess. No fuss. "The roof area above our attached garage was leaking badly whenever it would rain or snow would melt. Because there was a wooden deck installed above the rubber roof, it was not possible to determine the source of the leak.  After several attempts at patching things, we started to contact contractors to find out what was needed to fix the problem.  
I called JJB after locating them on an Angie's List search.  We arranged for Jeff to stop by to look at the problems and provide an estimate.  He stopped by, right on schedule, and looked at the problems, took measurements, and explained solutions.  It became clear that the leak was being caused by the poorly installed rubber roof (under the wooden deck) as well as a failing second-floor stucco wall that abutted the roof of the garage.  Because of the cost, we were not able to have the work done at the time of the estimate (April/May).  When we were ready to have the work done, I had a few additional questions about the project and talked to Jeff.  He suggested some different materials for the wall and modified the original proposal with the new costs.  We approved the proposal and Jeff or Ann got back to us right away to let us know the timeline for the work to be done.  
The work started right on schedule and either Jeff, Ann, or the project manager, Joe, would check in with us to let us know how the work was proceeding and any issues.  Some extra work was required due to water damage and the improperly-installed roof materials.  When this came up, Joe explained exactly what would be needed, the charges, how they would be estimated, and all other details.  We approved the additional costs and all of the changes were well-documented so we never felt like we were in the dark about the revised costs.  When the additional work was complete, Joe let us know and the originally-proposed work continued.
All of the work was done carefully with close attention to detail.  We are very happy with how things turned out and, after a few rain storms, we have not had any further leaks.  We highly recommend JJB.

"I have worked with contractors in the past but, never had such kind, courteous, punctual, and patient young men as Jovon and Jeremy. They worked with me on the situation I was in. My neighbor was going to install my storm door for free but he ended up in a cast due to a work injury. So now I'm stuck. I contact Angi to get some Quotes. Jovon set up the appointment. Arrived on time. Just toward the end of the install we discover I had ordered the door to wide I had a 36" and I needed a 32". So then I went online to find the right door. Jovon and Jeremy gave me another appointment for the next day, They arrived at 10 AM and went out of their way to take me back to Menards to exchange the door.
