"Highly Recommend T&K Builders We could not be more impressed with our experience with T&K Builders. From the beginning, Terry and his team were attentive, punctual, respectful, and professional. Terry personally walked us through the entire process from start to finish, including the design and material selections for our two-story, approximately 8,000-square-foot barndominium. Because we have a farm, we had some very specific needs. Automotive and RV parking were extremely important to us, along with a large, functional mudroom because we are constantly dealing with mud and farm traffic. Terry listened to what we wanted and helped design the space around how our family would actually use it. He and his team also continually worked with us to manage costs and offered different options when there were opportunities to save money without sacrificing the overall quality of the project. One of the things that impressed us most was the communication and oversight throughout the en"

"The service went well, they were good. The first time we used him, he came out thorough and nice. He turned around the samples pretty quickly for us. We used them again later, and the second time was fine, and it took a little long for us to get the results, but we weren't in a hurry, so it was fine. There wasn't anything bad, but there wasn't anything memorable either."

"Immaculate Connection did a good job for us of snow removal this season, always coming promptly after a snowfall and doing a good job of cleaning up, using snowblowers and shovels rather than a snowplow, which resulted in a better job of clearing.  If we weren't sure the snowfall was going to meet the 2" threshold, I could always reach the owner by phone to ask.  I also had occasion to ask for special service for a period of time, and that, too, was handled well.  We were quite satisfied with the services.  Though their services are a bit more expensive than some, we felt they were worth it.

Land Clearing Services questions, answered by experts

ALTA/ACSM surveys are the most comprehensive type of land survey and, as such, tend to be the most expensive. These surveys have standardized guidelines and reports and are used in many kinds of real estate transactions to ensure consistent and accurate information is available for properties.

It is almost always necessary to hire a land surveyor near you to ensure your fence sits on the right side of the property line. Mistaking the shape of your property can lead to fines and costly changes if you have to move or adjust the privacy fence—not to mention some surly looks from your neighbor. We recommend jumpstarting your fence planning in the spring to ensure there is plenty of time to map out your plan before construction season.

A land survey defines and records the physical aspects of a property, including its boundaries, dimensions, easements, features, and sometimes topographical information. In contrast, a land appraisal determines the property's monetary value. While an appraiser will often consult a land survey to understand the property's physical specifications, the survey itself does not determine the land's value.

If you’re planning to dig on your property, you’ll need to check for underground utility lines. Call the national call-before-you-dig 811 number. Once connected to an operator, you can schedule a site visit to mark underground lines. This way, you won’t accidentally dig into pipes and can cause major (read: costly) issues.

Soil testers and licensed excavators are often the professionals you hire if you need a perc test. In some cases, structural engineers will also be able to conduct the test for you. In many municipalities, you’ll need your professional on-site to dig and fill the holes with water, as well as a representative from your local building department or health department. That representative is the individual who will determine whether your test passes or fails.
