"We had a great experience working with Top Bros construction and remodeling. They fully removed our tile and wood flooring and installed LVP that we had provided. They also installed new trim and baseboards throughout, which look great. They were timely and efficient. We are very happy with the outcome!"

"When we first walked in to see the work that they did, we were amazed at how clean it looked. For instance, our laundry room just always seemed like a spiderwebbed room. It s the one room in the house that very rarely gets spotlessly clean and I couldn t believe how beautiful it looked after they cleaned it. They did a beautiful job with the paneling and on the ceilings. I will hire them again. The work that they put into this was well worth the money."

"My whole house is carpeted (except for the obvious areas). I had PureSteam do Everything and couldn't be happier with the results. Armando showed up on time (I was alerted via text messages with advance quote, arrival times and "en route" status). Armando was polite, considerate and conscientious. He worked very hard to complete all the rooms in about 2 hours. He even checked to make sure I had my cat secured (so she wouldn't escape during cleaning). My carpets look terrific and the price was fair and well communicated. I will certainly call PureSteam the next time I need carpets cleaned. Thank you PureSteam for a well-done professional job!"

"Overall it was a positive experience. We're pleased with the carpet we chose and really like the free endless supply of stain remover (it's the best stain remover I've ever used which is key when you have three cats).  There were only a few issues that came up.  The first was that the carpet did not come in on time for installation which meant we had to push it back.  They offered us a discount as compensation for the inconvenience which we appreciated.  The issue really was a miscommunication on what exactly the discount would be.  They offered a flat dollar amount and free furniture moving.  But at this point it was a day before installation was supposed to occur so we had already taken it upon ourselves to move all the furniture onto our hardwood floors.  I suggested getting the amount that the furniture movers would charge as a discount instead but they didn't agree and refused to do any more or even split the difference.  I figured then they'd at least cover moving the furniture back from the hardwoods but that also seemed to be a problem because they weren't able to provide movers for the time we'd be home to direct the furniture layout.  In the end they sent one guy to help my husband move the heaviest pieces and we did the rest ourselves.
The second issue that came up was a carpet seam in the upstairs hallway.  When they finished installation I noticed there was a large gap in the middle of the hallway.  I called to complain and spoke to a woman who said that was impossible.  There is no way there could be a seam in my hallway.  I assured her there was.  She said I was mistaken and that this must be the result of the end of a roll of carpet where the carpet is bent back and there is a crease which can appear like a seam but will eventually return to normal with some vacuuming.  She told me to vacuum it more.  We vacuumed it excessively but I also examined it more and I could clearly see both the cut ends of each section of carpet as well as carpet glue coming up in the seam.  I called the woman again and told her repeatedly that this was most definitely a seam.  She said it wasn?t.  Very upset at this point, I asked for her to send one of the owners to just take a look at it because they would definitely see it was a seam.  She said this wasn?t an option.  I offered to send a picture on my phone which she also refused.  Frustrated and practically in tears I wasn?t sure what I could do.  I finally called one more time and this time when I spoke to her she said ?oh, yeah, I know that?s a seam.  The carpet isn?t long enough to make the whole width of the hallway so they had to put a seam there.?  I was flabbergasted at the sudden about-face without so much as an acknowledgement that I had been right in my insistence for the past week.  Finally in agreement that it was a seam, I explained that it was a poor seam that needed to be redone.  The installer was redeployed and the seam was fixed (he actually had to replace a large chunk of carpet to fix the seam because the carpet was cut too short which resulted in the extremely visible seam which he agreed was unacceptable).
Despite the few issues, the experience was positive enough that when we finished our basement in April of 2012, we hired them again to install carpet in a much smaller area which was completed without issue.

Floor Cleaning and Waxing questions, answered by experts

To maintain tile and grout, clean the surfaces regularly with mild, non-abrasive cleaners and wipe up spills promptly to prevent buildup. It is also important to reseal the grout every 1-2 years to maintain its durability.

Sweep daily, use appropriate cleaners, and avoid abrasive tools to maintain the shine.

Most experts agree that the best thing with which to clean epoxy floors is a diluted mixture of ammonia and warm water. You can also use mild dish soap diluted with warm water or a degreaser (such as Simple Green or Goof Off) diluted with warm water. Some soap-based cleaners can leave a haze. If you notice this, further dilute the mixture with water or use a different detergent that does not leave a film. You should never use harsh cleaning chemicals, any type of acidic compound (such as vinegar or citrus-based cleansers), or harsh scrubbers like steel wool or hard bristle brushes.

Yes, a magic eraser can remove candle wax. You can use it to remove all the candle wax from start to finish. Another option is to remove all large clumps with a dull knife and then pull out your magic eraser to finish the job. However, while the results can be impressive, a magic eraser shouldn’t be used on all surfaces since it can potentially damage them. If you try this method, test a small, hidden spot first and proceed cautiously.

Each flooring material has its own maintenance requirements and cleaning techniques. For example, hardwood floors may require occasional refinishing and specialized cleaning products, while vinyl and laminate are easy to clean with regular sweeping and mopping. Concrete and natural stone, on the other hand, may need periodic sealing to maintain their appearance and durability. Follow manufacturer recommendations and utilize appropriate cleaning methods to preserve the integrity of your chosen flooring material.
