We are a professional pool sales and service company with 15 years experience. Have installed over 400 swimming pools and 300 billiard tables. Offer free consultation and estimates. Workmanship guaranteed 30 days.

"Very unprofessional!!! Company refused to call, did everything through Facebook messenger. Its very clear that they only wanted to get money for a deposit that they are now with holding from my family. It's clear in my messages to them that I was interested if they could get the new liner installed this week. They promised to message me on Sunday to let me know what day they are coming. Never messaged me back. I reached out to them late Sunday and boom.... You are on a waiting list. So several messages later I am to blame for them misleading me, but hey we can get you in on Wednesday. This is the start of red flags. I question if it's going to be a rush job with poor workmanship because I complained and they get sensitive and keep messaging me about how they are busy and are 1-2 weeks out. Not once did they apologize and try to earn my trust back. Not once did they call the number I provided twice to talk to my wife about getting the work done. Just excuses! Then today when I ask about draining the pool, they respond that they will not be serving me and block my messages! They still have my deposit! Rip off alert! Do yourself a favor and stay away. Check Better Business Bureau for other complaints of poor work and excuses! Do what you promise Benjamin! Also how does a company give themselves a 5 star review? Twice? Ben D is the owner and the company can reviews itself?!"

Full-service landscapers in Wisconsin, Vande Hey Company offers everything from landscape design to lawn care services. We even install artificial turf! For outdoor rooms, beautiful gardens, and commercial landscaping, we're your professional landscapers and so much more! Additional email: [email protected].

"RUN....Horrible company!! Very unprofessional/dishonest business and people from top to bottom. Hired Vandehey put a new pool liner in. Took forever to install and only spent 30 minutes here most days which is why it took so long. The crew put holes in our new liner with a screwdriver when installing and were going to leave it. We had to request a new liner. That was only 1/2 the problems. 1st liner their crew...and I'm quoting.....had dirty tanks they used to fill water into our pool. This caused HUGE issues with the water, our son broke out with something all over his body, clogged up our pool heater which is now broken and they refused to fix and caused issues with the brand new (less than 1 year old pool filter) that we just bought from them. They refused to fix this as well saying we had to spend $1400 to replace parts in this filter we just purchased from them and never got to hardly use. 1 year later after we started this nightmare, they were supposed to come back and finish the trim around our stairs and make sure the water was still clean from the previous issues. They ordered the wrong size trim first but then realized they couldn't even get our size anymore so they couldn't get anything snapped on. They chose to install this piece that doesn't even fit with silicone to get it to stay. It was falling off from day 1 which they tried to get it to hold with sandbags in our pool. Now we cannot remove it for fear of tearing our new liner. They stopped all communication after leaving the sandbags in the pool and left us wondering what was going on. Then sent us a bill saying we were 90 days past due, with late fees and we were going to collection if didn't pay immediately. We have emails and texts showing they were still working by us and had agreed to no final payment until all work was complete. I would never recommend Vandehey!!!"

Heavenly Heat Infrared Saunas are made for the chemically sensitive. That means that our infrared saunas create an ideal, safe, and effective detoxification environment for anyone seeking to eliminate toxic substances from their body.

"Terrible! Wish I had gone with another company. Here is the issue with Heavenly Heat. If your sauna arrives damaged or and issue arrives -- they have zero technical support. Your repairs will be done by any "joe" that heavenly heat finds to do the repair in your area. They will have no experience with Sauna's and are given no instructions regarding the chemical free aspect of these sauna's. The worst part is the buyer, me, was treated as if I was the problem for wanting my sauna repaired correctly. I would have refused the delivery had I realized I was receiving a damaged sauna and would have to spend hours and days trying to get this resolved. The owner, Bob Morgan, is extremely responsive before he has your money but after, is a different story. When inquiring about the sauna he would respond generally within 10 minutes. After you purchase, and particularly if you have a problem with it, you are treated as if you're a nuisance. My sister bought a competitors sauna around the same time and the service she received from knowledgable representatives was a world of difference from my experience. My other issue was that there were shipping delays and Bob would never communicate them. I would have to pursue him to get information. I think they make a decent sauna but I would not recommend for reasons stated above."

I asked them to provide me the part number for the wet end 3 months ago .... I am still waiting for a response!!! As it turned out it was a bad seal (wet end and motor are fine.) Cost $150 and 48 hrs to repair. Stay away from Master Spas!"

2007 years of experience

Splash Custom Pools and Spas, Inc. was established in March 2007 by Terry and Tom Hendricks of De Pere, Wisconsin. Because they are pool owners themselves, Terry and Tom have firsthand understanding of how much the communities of Northeast Wisconsin (including Green Bay, Appleton, Manitowoc, Surgeon Bay, Algoma, Sheboygan, Oshkosh, Fond du Lac & all Cities in between) need a quality design/build pool contractor with good follow-up and great customer service. Their passion for good customer service and a commitment to quality and creativity has motivated the Hendricks to bring you Splash, another choice in your search for a pool contractor. This team of fine professionals has over 100 years of combined experience, enabling Splash to compete with even the most challenging of projects in this forever-growing, exciting industry of design/build pool construction and outdoor living space. Although Splash may be new, the company was founded on the principals of the highest quality an d service to you the customer, the old way of doing business.

"We contracted with splash custom pools to renovate our 35 year old inground swimming pool. Part of the remodel included pouring a new concrete deck and coping and installing linear drains. The quality of the work was worse than sub par. The drains were not installed at the correct height, the coping has large gaps and holes, and the concrete relief joints were sawn with a dull blade causing many chips and cracks. The concrete look terrible and now needs to be completely removed again and re-poured which will be very labor intensive and costly. The owner, Scott also did not complete the work as scheduled and was not responsive to multiple calls requesting resolution to the poor quality of flatwork. We then heard that his employee that did the concrete work was no longer employed with the company, yet Scott refuses to stand behind his work. Part of the remodel also included all new equipment, pumps, lights, filters, etc,, all of which was never delivered to us. We have been left with a large hole in the ground and an unfinished pool for over 1.5 years. Splash Pools also refuses to provide their insurance information so we have now filed litigation against him personally and Splash Pools. Beware of this company and do not give them any money prior to researching their reputation."

Pool and Spa Servicing questions, answered by experts

For a fully-foamed hot tub, freezing typically occurs when the temperature drops below 28 degrees Fahrenheit and remains at or below this level continuously for a minimum of 36 hours. If your hot tub and pumps are still operational, however, the water circulates, and this continuous movement helps prevent freezing, even in very cold conditions. This circulation, along with the insulation provided by the foam, helps maintain the water temperature and prevent it from freezing during extended cold periods. Still, if you’re not planning to run it regularly, be sure to winterize the hot tub properly to prevent damage from freezing.

Yes, air baths are good for you. They promote relaxation, improve circulation, and can even hydrate your skin. Since they’re gentler than water jets and whirlpools, they are a good choice for a wide range of homes and users, from children to adults. You can maximize the benefits by using them regularly for stress relief and by pairing the bubble effects with calming music, low lighting or chronotherapy, aromatherapy, and other relaxation techniques.

Depending on the material and level of upkeep, hot tubs can last anywhere from five to 20 years. Having a professional service your hot tub once a year and addressing issues immediately will help prolong the life of your hot tub.

No, you cannot clean your hot tub filters in the dishwasher. While it may seem like a good idea, the dishwasher soap isn’t gentle enough for hot tub filters and can damage them. Gentle cleaning is better when cleaning the hot tub filters and keeping them intact.

Follow these general safety tips for spas and hot tubs:

  • Keep your exterior electrical receptacles covered and dry, especially around your hot tub and pool during periods of use.

  • Make sure you have a GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupter) properly installed to ensure no one gets accidentally shocked or injured by electrocution.

  • Don’t use the hot tub or your pool during a thunderstorm.

  • Before using the hot tub, have a certified electrician thoroughly inspect your hot tub and its wiring to make sure you’re in full compliance with all applicable local building codes.
