FUTURE FITNESS PLUS

My husband had purchased a home gym several years ago (before we married) from Future Fitness Plus and was pleased with every aspect of the sale. He strongly encouraged me to go to them again when I was researching the purchase of a quality treadmill. I stopped in to another store on a whim one day and was really turned off by the salesmen. After several visits I was convinced I did not want to return to their store. I thought this was just typical customer service and assumed all salesmen treated a woman like an ignorant sales prospect. I did go to Future Fitness hesitantly since the other store only had negative things to say about them. As a salesperson myself, I am always turned off by a salesman who puts down the competition. Initially I left a message on FFP's voice mail. My call was returned promptly the next day from Chad with more information than I asked for. Chad was extremely professional and courteous. Both Chad and the owner, Wayne, were able to educate me on everything I needed to know to make an informed decision, and not necessarily because they encouraged me to make a decision to buy from their store. Also, both have worked for FFP for 12+ years and have firsthand experience with many fitness machines. There was no pressure to sell. I was sold on the service and the confidence that all my needs would be addressed in the future. I have told everyone I know to use FFP if they decide to purchase fitness equipment. I purchased a quality product that has a strong reputation for solid workmanship. I was given a great discount, as the original product retailed for $2000. They threw in many extras (fitness ball, treadmill mat, extra wireless heart monitor). Since we were paying cash outright, we were able to negotiate a great deal that was acceptable for both FFP and myself. Also, Wayne keeps his home phone and address listed in the local phone book because he has little fear of retaliation from customers that may be less than satisfied.
