Customers say: Quick response

"Katie came in and did an awesome job. She gave me great ideas on storage and really helped me cure the anxiety in cleaning and organizing. She did my girls room, my upstairs bathroom, and my kitchen/diningroom. I plan on hiring her back once we complete our kitchen design."

Hello,\nMy name is Youa. I live in West bend WI. I'm happily married, have two beautiful daughter, and two fur babies.\n\nFor the longest I've always wanted to start my own cleaning business, but never moved forward with it. I would like the opportunity to start out small cleaning residential houses. I don't have any experience cleaning houses, but if given a chance I won't disappoint.\n\nAnyone who knows me, will say I'm a clean freak. Some would say I'm overly OCD. But I would tell people "cleaning is my cardio." 😊 \n\nI used to work as a CNA caring for patients. It was rewarding, but felt like something was still missing. While looking for a different career change in Healthcare, I stumbled across Sterile processing tech, wondering what this position entails. Come to find out it involves cleaning instruments for surgeries. Seven years later I'm still doing what I love. This position may not be direct caring for patients, but knowing I'm helping patients stay safe in other ways.

House Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Putting off cleaning your fridge is a bad idea for a few reasons. For one, any food spills can build up, making it much harder to clean your fridge when you finally do get around to it. Plus, any stray pickle juice or leaky leftovers are a recipe for a stinky fridge.

But beyond that, if you don’t clean your fridge, it could be a health hazard. Old food can turn moldy and old spills can too. Even if none of that scares you, putting off cleaning your fridge will make it look downright gross, which should be reason enough to break out your sponge.

One of the best ways to prepare for a home biohazard cleanup is not to touch anything. Do not remove belongings, even if they are of value or importance, from the area as they are likely contaminated. It’s essential not to use any cleaning products of your own, as the cleaning company will be using chemicals that could interact with your products.

One thing you can do to prepare is take pictures of your space and belongings that need to be cleaned, especially if you plan on filing a claim with your insurance company. In addition, take time to make a list of items that are valuable, sentimental, or otherwise important. The cleanup company must evaluate these belongings to make sure they are safe.

Yes. Baking soda and vinegar—when diluted with water—are safe to use to clean sticky laminate floors.

Your schedule for deep cleaning will depend on how often you clean regularly and how dirty your home gets. If you clean weekly and keep things tidy, you may only need to deep clean once a year. But if you don’t keep up with regular cleaning or have pets that drag in mud and shed all over the house, you might need deep cleaning two or three times a year.

The most sanitary way to mop a floor is with a microfiber mop and two buckets of water: one with cleaning solution and one without. Use the soapy water to mop the floor and rinse the mop in the clean water. When the water gets dirty, pour it out and replace it with new water. This mopping technique ensures the mop stays cleaner and prevents the spread of dirt and bacteria.
