"Friendly service. Moved items were returned to their proper places. My house was exceptionally dirty. They did an excellent job in removing all the dirt and mildew. When they had finished the front, a neighbor immediately called to say my house's siding looked like brand new. She was right. It looks fantastic."

"The exterior wasn't as clean as I thought it should've been. All my windows now have a foggy film on them and will need to be cleaned (which isn't easy to do) there was alot of debris left on the decks. I thought that by paying 2x what others were going to charge the job would've been better. The product is garanteed for 2 years I will see how it lasts and how the company stands behind the product."

Hello,\nMy name is Youa. I live in West bend WI. I'm happily married, have two beautiful daughter, and two fur babies.\n\nFor the longest I've always wanted to start my own cleaning business, but never moved forward with it. I would like the opportunity to start out small cleaning residential houses. I don't have any experience cleaning houses, but if given a chance I won't disappoint.\n\nAnyone who knows me, will say I'm a clean freak. Some would say I'm overly OCD. But I would tell people "cleaning is my cardio." 😊 \n\nI used to work as a CNA caring for patients. It was rewarding, but felt like something was still missing. While looking for a different career change in Healthcare, I stumbled across Sterile processing tech, wondering what this position entails. Come to find out it involves cleaning instruments for surgeries. Seven years later I'm still doing what I love. This position may not be direct caring for patients, but knowing I'm helping patients stay safe in other ways.

House Cleaning questions, answered by experts

If you’re seeing many cobwebs inside your home, chances are you have a spider problem. Cobwebs are either abandoned spiderwebs or webs made by a member of the house spider species, but if you clean them with vacuuming or dusting, for example, and they reappear, then it points to an issue with spiders. Try using a natural DIY spider repellent or calling in a pest control service to help keep spiders out of your home.

Onions, peppers, fish, broccoli, and fried chicken taste great—but the leftover smells can be less than appetizing. Even if these foods are cooked perfectly, the odors they leave behind can linger well beyond the dishes being cleared and washed. Fortunately, you can use the same tips to get a burnt smell out of the house and remove stubborn food odors. In addition, make sure you’re keeping your fridge clear of odor-smelling foods for too long to keep the stench from invading other foods.

To neutralize mildew smell, you can use natural deodorizers like baking soda or activated charcoal. Baking soda absorbs odors; sprinkle it liberally on the affected area, let it sit for a few hours, then vacuum it up. Activated charcoal, available in pouches, works similarly. Vinegar, with its natural acidic properties, can also neutralize odors. Mix equal parts water and vinegar, spray the affected area lightly, then blot it with a dry cloth. Enzymatic cleaners are effective too, breaking down odor-causing compounds.

Baking soda can take between 15 minutes and a few hours to deodorize a refrigerator or other area. Baking soda acts as a pH neutralizer for the acidic nature of smells. Placing an open box of baking soda in your refrigerator can help keep smells at bay.

You should consider doing a few things on your own that fall under the category of “good house cleaner etiquette” to prepare for your house cleaner. These include tidying counters, floors, and other surfaces, taking care of the dishes, moving laundry to the laundry room or a dedicated laundry basket, and putting away personal and private items. Think of your house cleaner as someone who brings your home from relatively tidy to organized and clean, and you should have no issues.
