Kraus Snowplows and Equipment was founded in 1978 by Tom Kraus. The primary business at that time was selling Patz Equipment. We have installed and serviced farm equipment ever since that time. We have expanded our offerings to Agromatic, Berg and Kraiburg farm products as time progressed. In 1997, we purchased a snowplow business and provide full sales, service and parts for Boss, Hiniker, Kage, Meyer, Western & Saltdogg snowplows and salters. In 2000, we began pouring concrete as a concrete contractor. We pour flat-work and walls for all agricultural, commercial and residential customers. Since the business has expanded, we now employ 10 people and have built a new shop and storage area in 2009.

"Paid him over 12k for a job he said would take 6 weeks. It has been over 6 months and only completed some stairs to the camper. Has lied saying work has been completed. Still owes us over 9k and refused to pay us back. We now will be taking him to court. The picture provided is proof of his lies. I have him texting me saying he completed painting the roof. Well you can see he did not."

Small cracks should be filled with a flexible crack filler, like a rubberized asphalt-emulsion crack filler or a flexible masonry crack filler. Larger cracks need something a bit more solid to prevent further movement and to avoid having to use too much of the flexible filler. For concrete, you can use a concrete backer rod while asphalt can handle sand, gravel, or even dirt.

Things like gravel, crushed shells, or even sand works with shallow potholes. For larger damages, use cold patch asphalt or a concrete mix. Make sure you compress the material enough so it stays intact against the traffic. Loose gravel is the most affordable option in most cases, but concrete is often the most reliable and durable.

If you used regular jointing sand, you can typically walk on the repaired area right away. If you used polymeric sand, wait at least 24 hours before walking on it and 48 to 72 hours before driving over it, depending on the weather. Polymeric sand needs time to fully cure and lock the pavers in place.

Filling small cracks in your driveway with patching material is usually the most affordable fix, costing about $2 to $3 per square foot. For larger damage, however, these repairs won’t last, so it’ll save you more to resurface or replace the driveway, depending on the extent of the issues.

An asphalt overlay or top coat costs between $3 and $7 per square foot. For a standard, single-car driveway that’s 10 feet wide and 20 feet long, that’s a total of between $600 and $1,400. For a two-car driveway, you’re looking at a total of between $1,200 and $3,000.
