"well when I first meant them they were great I showed them a picture of the surround and tub I wanted them to put in he said he had one like it okay and I told him to go ahead and pick the facets to match with what he put in for the tub which they were okay the problem came when I told him I wanted a new ean put into the ceiling the one we had was very hard to clean you have to take every thing down to clean it I wanted some thing I could handle my self well they cleaned it up and put the old one back up yet in the price I paid for a new ceiling fan, other then that they were friendly and did do a good job they nicked my floor up in about 5 places they are little but I still can see the places it happen even with rugs down, they did explain to me that it is hard to put the tub in with out marking it up a little the floor is about 20 years old but it still looked new and I did say to my husband I wish I never started the job they did clean up there mess pretty good which helped other then that they were dependable but I had to call them to find out if they were coming that day my husband is not good at that stuff. and I had errands to run. other then the fan they did a great job!!!"

“I wouldn’t worry too much about rats coming up through the sewers,” Bradshaw says. “I’d say only one out of a thousand rodent customers we get actually have this problem. And of the 20 or some customers that have had this happen, they’ve all only had just one rat come up this way.”

A sewage smell in your crawl space is usually from a damaged or clogged pipe leaking sewer gasses or actual sewage underneath your home, but there are some other common causes. Moisture, from poor or damaged encapsulation or a malfunctioning sump pump, can harbor mold and bacteria, causing a musty smell. Pests can also get stuck in your crawl space and die, which causes a sewage-like odor.

If you want to avoid using a snake to unclog a drain, or if you don’t have one, try vinegar and baking soda. Pour 1 cup of baking soda down the drain, followed by 1 cup of white vinegar. Wait for 15 minutes, and then run hot water (but not boiling water) down the drain to see if the clog is clear. Repeat multiple times as needed.

While some chemical drain cleaners with hydrochloric acid can dissolve hair, this method is not recommended as it can also destroy your plumbing pipes. A common DIY alternative is using baking soda and vinegar, which can help break down the clog but will not actually dissolve the hair. The best and safest method for clearing a hair clog is to remove it manually. You can use a drain snake, a straightened wire hanger with pliers to fish out the clog, or have a plumber use a professional auger for more severe blockages.

You could be smelling sewer gas in your kitchen because of a dry P-trap, clogged vent pipe, or leaking plumbing seals. If you smell a rotten egg odor, check your sink’s P-trap and plumbing connections first. A clogged or damaged vent pipe can trap sewer gas and push it back into your kitchen through the plumbing pipes. Loose or deteriorated seals around drainpipes can also allow sewer gas to leak out. If you can’t find the source, call a local plumber for expert help.
