The prep work on my home was done well so the paint job will last as long as possible. I had cracks gaps and holes and many nails that were all taken care of including 7 new windows that needed caulked prior to the job. I feel like the job was worth the money."

Generally, any type of house paint, such as latex, acrylic, or mineral paint, will work for whitewashing. Paints with a matte or semi-gloss finish work best. If you have leftover white paint from another project, whitewashing can be a great way to use up paint that might have otherwise gone to waste. 

Painting a driveway can be a good idea for specific situations. It offers aesthetic improvements, helps protect the surface from UV damage and stains, and can extend the driveway's life span.
