"I hired Mr Kidd to remove a couple small/medium trees from a tight spot without damaging neighbor?s fence. He did 100% perfect job and hauled off the waste. Dug some drainage trenches and improved the slope in part of the yard. I found Mr Kidd to be a hard worker and easy to communicate with. He?s conscientious and a great problem solver. Listened attentively to my project concerns and completed everything to my satisfaction. In fact, he exceeded my expectations. I was thrilled with his work and will be hiring him again! Very trustworthy."

"Install went through without a hitch. Ethan was very professional and did a great job installing the two mounts for both the living room and basement. Bed frame was done and looks amazing. Tv stand is great. Highly recommend!!!"

"Mr John Paul was very easy to work with and explained everything in a common way that was easy to understand. He worked us into a normally unavailable time frame after a prior contractor cancelled. Work was performed with quality of care and quickly."

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, a hot or overheating outlet is a fire hazard and can cause a fire. An outlet becoming hot indicates an electrical problem, such as an overloaded circuit, loose connections, or a faulty component. The heat from these issues can ignite nearby flammable materials like curtains or furniture. If you notice an outlet is hot to the touch, turn off the power at the circuit breaker, unplug any connected devices, and consult a qualified electrician. If a fire does start, use a Class C fire extinguisher or baking soda to suppress it, or evacuate immediately and call the fire department.

Recessed lights, as with any kind of light, can be a fire hazard if not installed correctly. Because of this, it’s best to have a professional complete the installation for you. Properly installed lights should not pose a threat and often have heat sensors installed in them that turn the light off if the temperature gets too high.

You can install your own fire door, but since it’s a safety measure in your home (and often the only way to passively slow down a fire), you should rely on professional door installers. These contractors know exactly what to do and how to do it, and in our opinion, their costs are worth every penny.

Yes, windows being painted shut is a fire hazard. Because windows painted shut may have locks that stick or cannot be opened easily in an emergency, this becomes an immediate fire hazard that should be dealt with.

Pellet stoves are safer than wood stoves in many ways. They don’t produce as many creosote deposits as wood stoves do, they create less smoke, and the flames are contained, decreasing the risk of any sparks or embers creating a house fire. Pellet stoves also burn more cleanly and efficiently than wood stoves do.
