"I just bought a new house, where one room had a noticeable slope in it. I believe it was because this room used to be the garage before a remodel. I had RamJack come out to check it out to make sure there was not an issue with the foundation. They showed up and looked at the room, checked out the outside and performed some tests with their instruments. He could have scared me and told me that I needed lots of work, because honestly I have no idea about foundations and I was willing to pay to fix the issue on my new house. However, he explained to me that he did not believe there was an issue and that the house was fine. He said when I replace the carpet, to have the flooring people level out the slope and that should take care of it. It is great to work with those who do their best to give you accurate honest advice and not try and use your lack of knowledge against you. All of this was done for no cost, and that is what puts the cherry on top of this story. I know if I ever do have any issue, RamJack is the first place I will call, since if they tell me there is any issue I can trust that there really is one."

"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"I was most impressed with the assigned technicians who completed our bathroom remodel. Erik Jiminez and his assistant, Angel, would explain their assignment in detail and with the help of their direct supervisor, Alfredo Lua, would order the components of the project to best fulfill our plans. Then they would insure their workload would not compete with other issues we needed to accomplish in the house. I often asked them what might be more efficient in maintaining our new equipment and that helped us decide which manufactured item would serve our needs better in the long run. "AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

Painters, who was in the midst of a extensive exterior paint job. The house is a classic box-style with some beautiful exterior wood details which we wanted to preserve and highlight. Tim worked well with our painter to get an old house ready for the final exterior painting work. He was thoughtful, knowledgeable, and on time with a very few changes of schedule. Because of the success of that work, and because of the competence and enthusiasm Tim brought to the project (small as it was), I then hired him to work with to me design and rebuild the original entry, to more closely match the original details of the house. That project turned out really well, too, and it then made perfect sense to hire Tim to work on a re-design of the outdoor and garden lighting. Working together, we came up with a unique solution to the challenge of providing outdoor security lighting which also is aesthetically pleasing, and highlights our developing side garden. Tim was trustworthy, good-natured and easy to work with. Drawing on a wide breadth of knowledge, Tim was able to come up with creative, cost effective solutions that I had not considered. In short, he offered options that saved money. Tim’s willingness and skill at developing a realistic budget at the very early stages of the project development - sort of a bare minimum needed to get us there - was very reassuring and freeing, as it later allowed us to feel comfortable about adding some upgrades in the finishing stage. Another benefit of working with Tim is that he can do both the design and construction work. He draws on many years of work in architecture and construction. Tim is a good communicator, who listened to our needs and ideas and carefully discussed with us all of our concerns. The focus was on helping us cratively and cost-effectively define the goals and put together a plan to accomplish the project. Tim brings to a project a wealth of knowledge, which he told us he acquired through over 30 years of experience in the northwest, especially work on older homes with all their eccentricities. Tim takes great delight in problem solving design and construction challenges on older homes. In his work, Tim was thoughtful and conscientious, and brought a mix of humor and serious problem-solving skills to the project. He interacted well with the children of the household, too. It was overall the kind of experience that leaves clients satisfied and pleased with the results."
