"WOW!! Highly recommend!! Immediately after reaching out about clearing a half acre of old alders and blackberries, Ben responded with a same day estimate. The next day he and ten of his crew showed up with equipment and expertise to open up an area we intend to use as a native tree nursery. The crew were SO talented, friendly, hardworking and professional. What we thought would take a week for a professional crew took Ben and his team about 4-5 HOURS! They cleared and wood-chipped all the trees and brush, removed all stumps and leveled out the area. They even used rakes and leaf blowers to clean up the entire site. We couldn't recommend Rawls Tree Service more to anyone looking for outstanding service at lightening speed. Thank you for opening up our space for our dreams to grow!! :) -Lauren and Avery"

Small jobs welcome

"Adam & Britney (Peak to Valley Builders) were great to work with. They listened by to what I needed and made sure the final project was exactly what I asked for. They showed up when they said they would and were great at communicating with me. When the job was done they picked up everything and left my place in pristine condition. I couldn’t be happier with the final product and highly recommend them for any concrete projects you made need done!"

"We recently bought a house in the N. Cascades with 1 acre of property teaming with deer, elk, coyotes and even bear. We needed a fence to keep our dogs in, wildlife out, with protected space for gardening AND no loss of views on all 4 sides. We thought we would end up with an ugly chainlink fence. But Marcelino, the owner of PG Landscape, built us a strong metal wire fence with a beautiful wood frame that met all our needs PERFECTLY! He helped us create a plan to accommodate all our needs, then built a fence that had to go up and down hills and through the woods in places. It is both a strong, utilitarian animal fence and a beautiful, see-through fence that maintains all our views, and enhances our property. Marcelino and his crew are perfectionists with the most amazing work ethic! They triply measured and checked everything. We've never seen a crew work as hard or as carefully as this one. Marcelino was in charge of every detail, and his team exuded pride in their workmanship. 100% recommendation!"

"Chris and Jason did a beautiful job cleaning up a steep area of my side yard. They cleaned up all the yard waste when they were done and left the job site looking beautiful. I fully intend to hire them again in the future!"

"I couldn't truthfully rate on the "value" as it's an insurance claim from a neighbor's tree breaking and landing on one of my buildings. I haven't seen a bill but looking at the job they did I could probably give them a 5 rating. To the rest, the dad, Sam, was very friendly and helpful and always answered the phone or called me immediately back if I had to leave a message. The guys that came out were extremely kind and professional. Their clean up after was great. My yard looks better than before the tree hit."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

No. Most of the time, suckers are only a sign that the tree is experiencing stress. However, they can also be the canary in the coal mine, letting you know that something else is stressing your tree. If you have lots of suckers on your tree, calling in an arborist or a tree care expert is always a good call to determine the cause and develop a solution that de-stresses your tree.

Yes, you can hire professionals to move a tree. Arborists and tree transplanting companies specialize in this type of work and use equipment like hydraulic tree spades to safely extract and relocate trees with their root balls intact. Since tree moving is a complex process, especially for larger trees, it’s best left to experts who understand how to protect the tree’s health and ensure the safety of everyone involved.

The speed of your tree root removal process depends on a few different factors, including the size and type of tree. However, the fastest method of killing tree roots is applying chemical herbicide, which starts working quickly and efficiently. But this removal method has its drawbacks, such as having a negative effect on the surrounding vegetation and landscaping. Other options like rock salt and stump grinding work relatively quickly and cause less damage to your yard.

Cutting down a dead tree is always strongly advisable. Aside from being an eyesore, a dead tree can be extremely hazardous, especially when it’s near people or structures. Even if the tree isn’t near your home, it can still harbor pests and diseases that can potentially spread to nearby plants and homes.

If your palm tree has spots on the leaves, rotting buds, or is beginning to turn yellow, then you have a sick tree on your hands. You should contact a palm tree specialist to identify the problem and help treat the tree if possible. Preventing diseases and pests is key to a healthy palm tree, and it's essential to take action as soon as possible if your tree is showing signs of being sick.
