We are a family owned and operated business, and our employees currently consist of 3 family members. Our Master Mechanic and owner is Marlon, he previously worked at BMW and before that Nissan. We currently offer 10% for any new customers! This summer we are offering a Summer Tune Up special for $119 (includes replacement of in-cabin air filter, A/C check, cooling system inspection, & multi point inspection)

"Marlon (NW Autowork) is top notch! I have a e90 m3 and had him and his tech Spencer install solid rear subframe bushings for me. They did a fantastic job! A+. If you have a bmw I highly suggest this shop especially if you’re in the Tacoma area. I’d say they are the best and I wouldn’t even bother with any other shops if you have a bmw and live in the south end. They are really the best and pricing is fair. You’ve earned my trust Marlon and Spencer is awesome. I’ll be back again for future mods A++++ Thank you again guys!"

Kitsap Gas Piping is an independently owned and family operated company. Payment is due upon completion of services by cash or check. Contractors welcome.

"Met with them at my home look at what needed to be done . Was told they were going to run black pipe and did not use flex . After job was done and they had been paid I went under house to run electric line to same stove and seal any holes to keep out mice . What I found was half the job done in back pipe and half in flex . I contacted them and told them what I had found and wanted it replaced with black pipe . I was told they did use flex and there would be an extra charge to come out and remove the flex and install pipe . I had them come back remove the flex and install pipe and this time before I paid I went and checked they work .This time I found that they had run the pipe though the middle of the access hole to the lower portion of the crawl space . By building code there most be a 16x24 access to all areas under a house which is now partial blocked by this pipe. I called them again to have the pipe rerouted and was told that this is what I was getting and they were not going to fix ."

Gas Leak Repair questions, answered by experts

Yes, it’s possible to cap a gas line yourself if you’re no longer using it or are simply going out of town for an extended period of time. It’s essential to follow the steps on properly capping a gas line yourself. If you’re uncomfortable with any of the steps, you may want to bring in a natural gas plumber for added reassurance.

No, you shouldn't cap a gas pipe with a compression fitting because they aren't designed for gas lines and can pose serious safety risks. Gas pipes require threaded caps that create a secure, leak-proof seal capable of handling gas pressure. Using a compression fitting could lead to dangerous gas leaks—a hazard you definitely want to avoid.

Yes, it’s possible to convert an oil furnace to gas. However, you may have to replace the furnace completely instead of simply converting it. If the original oil furnace has had any type of damage or is older (typically considered over 15 years old), then you will likely need a full replacement versus a conversion.

Installing a gas line is no simple task. From start to finish, you’re looking at anywhere from six to 12 weeks to acquire the correct permits, dig a trench, and connect your appliances. Naturally, the longer the gas line, the longer it will take to complete. If your plumber needs to hire additional contractors to dig trenches and navigate around or remove obstacles, this could put you at the longer end of the timeframe.

Once the land is prepped and licenses acquired, installing the actual line may only take a few days to a few weeks, weather permitting.

Installation typically takes 1-2 days, and repairs can often be completed on the same day, depending on their complexity.
