Looking to replace natural wood fires in our home with either a gas log or a gas insert, we met with the company owner and discussed options. We emphasized our desire for a high quality appearance of the flames. Following the owner's recommendation, we selected a Heat n' Glo gas insert. Following its installation, it became immediately evident that the appearance of the flames was substantially inferior to the image in the manufacturer's brochure and on their website. It was only then than that WSB Sheet Metal Co. owner told us that because we were fueling our insert with propane, the appearance could not be as attractive as if it had been fueled with natural gas. In essence, the owner gave us insufficient information and misrepresented the product. Our purchase agreement assured us of a guaranteed 100% satisfaction. That statement is apparently meaningless to the company's owner.

A friend recommended WSB and since the Tech. was in the neighborhood I decided to have my repair done. The tech. re-attached a loose wire in about a half hour and the furnace was fixed. (no parts) I received a senior discounted bill of $239.46 OMG!! Way to expensive!! Afterwards, I checked with other top rated companies and found some that charge $100. or a little more for a one hour service call. Will not be using WSB again.

Bill and his crew were awesome. From the first phone call, to the estimate, to the final day. WSB was professional, punctual and extremely proficient. One of the best things about WSB was the ability to communicate directly with Bill or Jason whether it was by text or call. I will be using WSB in the future and definitely recommending them to anyone.

The ventilation ducting was installed well.  The only small issue I had with this project is that the hole that was cut through the floor was about 4 inches too long and 1 inch too wide and wasn't patched up.  Normally I wouldn't think much of this except I spent a lot of money in the previous years ridding of mice problems, so this type of hole gives opportunities for mice to go up my wall.  I put a screen around it and that fixed the potential future problems.  I did hire them back to connect the gas line to the generator.  It was pretty straight forward and took no longer than 1.5 hours but the cost seemed a bit high for that little amount of work, but it needed to get done.

The previous owner of my home hired WSB to install the furnace. I had them visit for a routine inspection and cleaning. That went fine, however the technician wasn't able to answer my questions about what kind of air filter I could use. The visit was approximately 30 minutes in length. I received an invoice for $254 plus tax. When I called to ask about the amount, I was told that they have a minimum labor charge of $245. However I was not informed of the minimum charge when I scheduled my service.

It was awesome.  They were able to come out the same day I called.  The gentleman who answered the phone was very courteous.  I would give them an A+ if I could.

We recently moved to Seattle and have had numerous inspections and service appointments to get familiar with our new house.  A common theme has emerged--everything installed by this company has code violations, and was either done without a permit, or never had a final inspection done.  I'm counting about 5 code violations that are going to cost us a lot of money to fix.  Most annoying has been the central air conditioning which was installed without a drain pan--I can't get any HVAC contractors to service the unity and all are quoting me enormous sums to bring it up to code.
I actually did some sleuthing and found that WSB did the HVAC work on the house and called them.  The owner came to the house and took a look and basically said he would be happy to fix the problems--for $1200.  No thanks.
Buyer beware, definitely avoid this contractor.

We came home on a Sunday night  after two weeks away on Christmas vacation.  It was about 40 degrees outside so we
were looking forward to getting into our warm house as we unloaded the
car.   Unfortunately the house
was about 40 degrees as well. 
Sometime during our two weeks away, our furnace  had died.
 
I got on the phone to WSB (who we had used before for a
tankless hot water heater install) at about 11:00 p.m. on a Sunday night and
left a message. By about  9:00 a.m.
Monday morning I got a return all and John was at our house by 11:00.  He confirmed our 25 year old furnace
was dead,  he gave me a ballpark
estimate on the time and cost to either fix  or replace it. 
We decided to go with a new furnace plus a heat pump.  The furnace was installed and running
within a week.    It took
an additional week to get some bugs out of the new wireless  thermostat but John stuck with it and
worked the problem with Honeywell (it was their thermostat) and we have not had
a problem since.

Called Saturday night when furnace broke, they got back to me Sunday morning and came by to fix it. Had to put up with a super cold house one night, but glad they could make it out on a Sunday anyway.. The repairman was very nice and professional and also fast. The rates are a bit high, but I bet that's because it was weekend.  Would hire them again in an emergency situation like this.

Smoothly! Both jobs were executed quickly and as promised. The gentlemen servicing our water heater and heater explained what the problem was and were pleasant and friendly.

Great. The repair spanned a two or three days and multiple visits to order parts and to ensure all functioned well. We were impressed with the knowledge and skills of the three employees who came to the house. That all of this was done quickly, reliably, and professionally during the December cold spell speaks very well of the company. We plan to eventually reroute and add to the duct work in the house and will absolutely return to the same company for these services.

We have had WSB other work in the past, but this was a very big purchase with lots of installation. Everyone we dealt with was very professional and did an outstanding job. The installers were very nice. They did a very clean installation. In this case clean installation means that they did not make a big mess during the work and they cleaned afterwards. Plus, clean means the system looks like it was put together correctly. There are no wires hanging down or pipes that blocking other things, aesthetically is nice.

WSB was the original installer.  They cheerfully came back to perform service.  Arrived on time, very professional.  Everything works great and the glass was very well cleaned.

They were late due to emergency.  Called to let me know.  Took only 1-1/2 hours to complete job.  Pleasant and they left the work area clean.

Our warm air heating wasn't working.  I called WSB early on the Monday morning to schedule an appointment.  I expected them to schedule me a few days out, but an engineer knocked on my front door within 10 minutes of me speaking to their office.  They quickly identified and resolved the issue, and took the time to explain to me what they were doing.   They also brought in a vacuum and cleaned out all the dust that had accumulated around the motor etc. 
I couldn't have been more pleased with the service we received from WSB and will certainly call them again.

Todd was really wonderful. We are new homeowners, and when we moved in the a/c was broken due to some work we had done on the house. We called WSB on a Sunday evening, got the emergency number to reach Todd, and he came over 3 hours later! He was professional, courteous and competent, and he tried his best not to get us something that we didn't need (he saved us a $300 part!). We had to endure a couple of hot days while they figured out the problem then shipped the part, but once it was fixed, it worked like a charm, and I am really glad I called them. The service was a bit pricey, but I would still hire them again  because I know I can depend on them and that they'll do it right!

Very easy to work with and forthright on what work needed to be done and why. Explained our options thoroughly.    Friendly, polite and professional.
