"Dean and crew did an absolutely amazing job building an A framed patio cover to support year round grilling and summer shade needs. Dean provided a detailed quote so I knew he understood our vision for the project. He provided timely communication throughout. He took his time to ensure the project was completed professionally. They cleaned up the job site every afternoon before leaving. The quality of craftsmanship was excellent and they replaced additional siding on the back of the house so the project flowed smoothly with the existing structure. "TLDR: All in all great value, quality, and flexibility. Overall I would absolutely hire Dogwood again. I would only be a little more careful to think of and express important specifications rather than leave anything assumed/unwritten. Dogwood was the only one who walked most of the job and considered challenges for the job before giving the quote. Most other contractors wanted a flat daily rate and made an arbitrary promise to get X done per day. Dogwood instead looked at it and considered the variables, told me what site prep to do, and worked diligently to execute the job. As with any contractor, I recommend putting any discussion and decision into writing. Several agreed topics/decisions and specifications were either forgotten or not followed. Miscommunications and last minute "boots on the ground" adjustments happen. Keeping things clear and written down (even on a post it for an adjustment the crew needs to remember) will help everyone."

The service provided was far more than just carpentry repair of hanging new doors, bifolds and trim through the house, the job included painting the interior, seal painting the floors and installing carpet through the upper floor and stairs, cleaning out and regrouting the lower floor tile then sealing, installing new sheetrock, texture to match, installing new toilets and correcting plumbing leaks, insatlling new lights fixtures and correct improperly wired outlets, cleaned the gutters, repaired damged exterior siding, landscape maintenance the entire yard.
