"I tried Intestate because they had great reviews. He was running a little late but communicated to me to let me know what time he would be there. James was very efficient and fast. He also used special wash that repelled dust and debris. My windows look amazingly clean. It was inexpensive and professionally done. James was very pleasant to talk with too."

Customers say: Quick response

"Very responsive and professional on our first visit .Technician Charles Monday gets a five star review based on his thoroughness and professionalism .We have two old AC units that are not functioning well as they were installed when we moved to the house 21 years ago .Mr Monday came on time and spent hours in the attic taking care of a leak and cleaning the furnace and filters and motor ,and we are grateful .He explained each step and consulted with me and took photos to document the problems encountered .Whereas we are contemplating replacement due to the age ,we feel we got our problem taken care of until the nest step which is a replacement of our units .I was impressed with his knowledge base and how he took so much time in making sure the AC was in running condition when he left ."

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Roof raking helps clear snowfall from your roof and, in turn, you hope that this prevents ice dams. But can roof raking actually cause them? Generally, no, it cannot. But you should note that while, in some cases, you might successfully prevent ice dams from forming near the edge of your roof by keeping it cleared with a roof rake, they could still form higher up on the roof, where you are unable to reach. This may leave you wondering: Does roof raking prevent ice dams? While it is not a 100% guaranteed way to prevent them, it does help.

To keep your PVC roof in top condition, keep it clear of debris, ensure drainage systems are working properly, and inspect it for damage regularly. Keeping the roof clear of ponding water, sharp debris, and other hazards will prevent damage. Have your roof inspected by a professional once a year to ensure the seams aren’t damaged or separated—faulty seams can lead to destructive water intrusion.

No, you should not use a pressure washer or power washer on roof shingles, including asphalt shingles. The high water pressure is too strong and can damage the shingles by loosening their adhesive, forcing water underneath them, or causing them to fall off. The safer and better option is soft washing with a pump sprayer. For best results and to avoid damage, consider hiring a local roof cleaner to clean your shingles safely.

Iron, or ferrous sulfate, is one of the fastest methods for killing moss. As such, you’ll find this ingredient in many lawn fertilizers and lawn killers. Vinegar is another solution for quickly killing moss. It takes just 15 to 20 minutes for vinegar to take effect. A harsher method is bleach, which also has a similar time frame for taking effect.

You should not clean roof shingles if the roof has damage like missing shingles or low spots where water may accumulate. You should focus on repairing the roof before any cleaning process occurs. If you notice roof damage as you’re climbing on the roof to clean it, stop immediately. Call a roofing pro to make repairs. Cleaning a roof that has damage could lead to pooling water or water damage to the roof decking. The roof cleaning process removes mold and mildew, making the roof look better. It is not going to fix physical damage, though.
