"They did an outstanding job on removing a maple tree that was encroaching on the sprinkler system control box. I hated to see a tree removed but they did an amazing job. 7 workers trimmed and cut limbs,removed the tree, used a wood chipper and ground the stump and cleaned up all leaves and sawdust. They even cut some limbs to 16inch lengths for firewood. Great crew. We are very pleased and will recommend them to our friends."

"Awesome crew. Responded to request for a quote, came to my house to see the job and give a quote and came back to do the job all in the same day! "J &J was very punctual! The team divided and conquered cleaning my carpets and washing the Windows. They were very speedy, yet very friendly and had tremendous attention to detail. "He was not knowledgeable about how to drop the trees. I saw charges three times for one tree. My husband and I helped him (which they did not lower the bill with our assistance) and they didn't stack the wood properly."

Generally, you don’t want to prune trees when there’s a risk of temperatures suddenly dropping from 50 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit to 0 degrees Fahrenheit or below. A tree is most sensitive until 48 hours after it’s pruned.

It depends on the problem, the affected part of the tree, the risk of the pathogen spreading, and the overall health of your tree. Many diseases, fungal infections, and insect infestations can be successfully treated, especially if the issue is only in a few branches. However, if a disease is too widespread, too severe, too easily spread, or in the roots, the tree will likely need to be removed.

It depends. Smaller, younger trees take longer to mature, but they're more resilient, their roots don't get as damaged during transplanting, and they recover faster. Plus, they're much more affordable to plant, and it's possible to DIY the planting.

If your tree’s leaves are yellowing, wilting, or dropping leaves, it’s likely that you’re overwatering. Other common signs include rotting, fungi, soggy soil, soft or peeling bark, falling leaves, and brittle roots. 

If you realize that you’ve been overwatering your mature tree, stop watering and give the soil time to dry out. Then moving forward, increase time between watering sessions. 

If it’s only a smaller branch that has died and you’re keeping an eye on the tree, it’s probably nothing to worry about. But if other nearby branches start dying off as well, or a very large branch dies, then you likely have a bigger problem. It’s time to watch for diseases and other problems and possibly get professional guidance on how to proceed.
