"I hired Neli over a week period for 3 different appliances, my dryer, washing machine, dishwasher, and even kitchen sink! I had a fantastic experience: 1. I fixed my dryer with Thomas' excellent remote guidance, changing the timer and the switch! Fabulous guidance Thomas, with lots of money saved! I learned a lot in the process. 2. I determined that there was no dishwasher leak and in the process learned how to check for leaks and trouble shoot for some common repair issues. It cost $40.00 but as I had some water on the floor, I was ready to get a new dishwasher. Now, I am confident that it wasn't a leak and caused by putting in the dishes in a funny manner and not a repair issue. I am using the dishwasher now again with no problem. 3. I determined with Thomas' help that the washing machine had a major problem and could have spun out of control into my wall....no question, it was time to get a new washing machine! This was a well spent $40.00--I even got Thomas advice on purchasing a new washing machine and what to look for. 4. I checked the drainage on my kitchen sink and learned how to empty out the "trap" and that most likely, I am okay, but what to swap out if I have continuing issues with slow drainage. I really do like to think of myself as a jack of all trades kind of guy. I can do anything with my truck. Including hauling, loading, and dumping. Basic Handyman skills which include drywall, plumbing, electrical, and appliances. Anything involving wood is a specialty of mine. If thats anything from chopping or cutting wood to restoring and building wood furniture. I just started going out on my own and trying to make a name for myself. "Mr. Appliance is a bit too eager to make a sale! I called Mr. Appliance and explained my issue with my Miele cooktop. After the technician came and poked and prodded my cooktop for 2 hrs, he called Miele 2 times to get a verbal diagnosis resulting in my invoice for $1475.13 I wasn't feeling good about this so I went to the Miele showroom in Bellevue where I was told Mr. Appliance is NOT an authorized repair company for Miele. When I called Mr. Appliance this morning asking if any of their technicians were certified on Miele the answer was no. After much discussion with the rude office manager explaining that when a customer calls for a repair and specifies the brand they are requesting help with, it should be disclosed at that point if they are authorized and certified to work on that particular brand. The part was never opened nor installed and the owner is insisting this is a restocking fee. I've even shared Miele's Operating & Installation manual with her, showing her where it clearly states "certified and authorized technicians" should be the only ones working on Miele appliances. Guess that's the way you keep the doors open....dishonesty! It'll catch up with you...it always does!"
