"After few meetings with Lorenzo, we decided to hire them and to sign a contract with Pure Home Remodeling for our major garage remodeling project. Our project included an addition to the existing space of the garage that will allow us to have another car storage and a semi large laundry space. The work was massive work that was based on a daily work that was managed by Lorenzo and was executed by his workers. The work took close to 2 months and during that time we were in a contact communication with Lorenzo. The results of the garage remodeling beyond our expectations and we truly love how it came out mainly the laundry space. Highly recommended company."

Garage Cleaning Services questions, answered by experts

Sheet metal garage doors, particularly steel and aluminum, have the cheapest materials and installation. Experienced homeowners may cut and shape the metal themselves; however, you can buy prefabricated metal from a hardware store or pay a metal fabricator to shape the metal to your specifications. Steel and aluminum garage doors can cost as little as $500 and go up to $3,000.

Yes. Paint will protect your garage floors, making them more resistant to water, mold, mildew, and oil stains. Depending on your paint choice, painted surfaces are easier to clean and maintain.

If push comes to shove, and you need to manually open your garage door, then you should be able to do so. To manually open your garage door, first, make sure that the door is in the down position. You’ll need to unlock your garage door opener’s emergency release mechanism, which is typically a red robe that you can find on the carriage. Once you’ve pulled the cord, you can manually lower the door.

If your garage door is stuck in an open position, consider contacting a professional to safely release the opener.

When choosing a garage door, start by considering your budget, the weather in your area, and how the door will complement your home’s look. If you’re not sure where to begin, call a local garage door company. They’ll help you figure out what matters, guide you through options, and take care of the installation.

You should lube your garage door components every three to six months depending on how frequently you open and close the door. Lubricant helps keep garage door components operating smoothly for longer; you can expect a much longer lifespan out of a garage door when you properly care for it, including frequent lubrication. Regular maintenance is much more affordable than the cost of replacing a garage door prematurely.
