was very hesitant hiring a contractor that I didn't know to come and give an estimate for a roof tear-off and install new asphalt shingles & skylights. After meeting Sam and his wife I felt at ease and knew that he would do a great job. I was satisfied with his bid and it was closer to my ballpark than the other bid I received. Sam & his crew showed up on the start date and every day after until it was finished. Even on a holiday. Also, job site was spotless every day before they left. Sam was very up front and approachable as to any questions or concerns I had about the project. Always kept me in the loop as to what was going on that particular day. I felt like he would have done just as good of a job even on his own house. I'm very happy with the final product. This is a company with high integrity and would not hesitate to hire them again knowing what I know now.

Sam is honestly the best contractor I've ever hired. We replaced the roofing on our house. Despite finding lots of wood rotted, he talked to me about my options, and was always sharing concern for my budget. We did quotes from 4 or 5 different contractors and he was able to come equal to the most competitive quotes but with better shingles. Even if he was more money, I still would have hired him. He took the time to take me and show me some of his previous work to help my wife and I choose a color. My advice, listen to his color recommendation! My wife and I chose grey despite Sam recommending Charcoal. After my wife saw the dark underlayment, she decided she wanted Charcoal the day before they began shingling. Sam and his team had the shingle supplier come out and deliver the charcoal shingles and returned all the grey shingles immediately--talk about going the extra mile! I didn't know Sam or D G Contracting until finding them on this site...and I promise that you won't be disappointed from the quality of work. Sam is a perfectionist. He even gave me tips about DIY projects around my house!

Very easy to work with and the amount I paid was the amount I was quoted. Prompt service and good communication. The project was replacing a metal roof on a barn and even though the structure was not square or straight, they did a great job making it look good. They took great care in making sure everything was picked up and my yard was clean.

Living in another town, I was very nervous about hiring a roofing company to fix my father's roof. Sam went above and beyond to allay my fears and explain everything he was doing. In the end. he allayed all of my fears and provided quality work in a reasonable time. I would highly recommend this company!

Sam and Gail are a well organized team. They removed our three tab shingles and installed HD shingles. The tear off, inspections and installations of Ice barriers, new felt, New vents, everything was completed to code. Inspection as completed with no noted flaws! The site was cleaned-up every day with all trash removed and hauled away. I highly recommend DG Contracting to our friends and neighbors who have stopped by to comment on our new roof. Sam and Gail and the crew are awesome. The bid for our job was well under the costs of others bids. The job was completed in a very timely fashion. Our job was also completely kept within the budget specified. Sam is a perfectionist and that characteristic is shown through his entire crew. Our job was not easy. We have a home that had five layers of shingles and composition roofing on it as well as 3" of moss. Now we have this impressive new roof on our home. There were several areas of rotted and dilapidated roof that they were able to fix and make good as new. Sam is clearly a Christian man who truly runs a Christian business. He is a man of his word and his morals and integrity are truly inspiring. He treated our home with the same integrity and quality work that he would treat his own home. We couldn't have asked for a better company to complete our job. I know we will have more work to do and we will be calling them. Additionally, we will be referring all of our friends to them when they have construction and roofing jobs to be done.

Sam was good to work with, He was polite, Honest and explained what he was going to do very well. We were under a time crunch to get this done and him and his guys kicked butt and got it done on time. Plus it looks great and my clients are ecstatic!!

Sam and his wife quickly responded to my call and came out to look at my project the same day I had a concern. Sam quickly put my mind at ease and set a date to complete the project. He had extra time earlier in the week, so he ended up coming out a few days earlier than originally planned. His work was impeccable and he insured I was happy with the product before installation. Sam & his wife are wonderful people, very honest and completed the job in record time. I found them on the internet and am not disappointed. Their workers were very respectful and did not take a lot of breaks. The goal was to complete the job and to leave the site in perfect condition. The price for doing the job was way less then the other roofer's quote for the same shingles & job. These guys were terrific!

DG did a 3 layer tear off and put on new sheeting and 30 year roof. Great customer service and communication. Professional and completed work on time.

Sam & his crew did a great job removing our 20 year old roof and 2 more old layers of asphalt roof. They installed a beautiful new 30+ year roof including flashing that previous roof repairers missed. Jo ab site left clean, very fair price, happy customer. Our neighbors like our new roof, many compliments and one of our neighbors hired them also. Would recommend to anyone.

Wonderful people to work with. I live in rural PALOUSE and they came from Spokane to take care of my decayed roof. It was a huge job but they worked in sweltering heat and every evening when they left (coming back the next day) everything was cleaned up and hauled off. I would recommend anyone that needs their type of work to call them for a bid. Very reasonable price.

Sam and his crew where very professional and polite. They came to Idaho to re-roof. In one day they removed the old shingles and re-roofed this in 90 degree weather. Our roof was very damaged and needed a overhaul, they came in and knew exactly what needed to be done and did it in exceptionality timing. Had to tear of three layers and do repairs from leak damage. A job that would of take me three months to do they had done in four days. Very bright and courtesy employees. I would highly recommend them! I reached out to DG Contracting to get some repair work done, and ended up getting my roof replaced due to several underlying issues. Allen with DG Contracting reached out to me right away to schedule the estimate. After getting the estimate they were able to get me scheduled within a couple of weeks, and there was snow for most of that waiting period. They showed up when they said they would, got the work done quickly and expertly, and cleaned up very well after themselves. Great job to Ben and the crew who did the work!

i called DG Contracting at 7:45 am on Saturday morning. Sam the owner of DG came to the house that afternoon and explained my options. I agreed to a roof replacement on the north side of the house because of leak issues. Sam told me he would have his crew there Monday morning. I was impressed at his willingness to get this project going on such short notice. He stated it was supposed to rain all week and he wanted to get this done for us. His crew showed up at 8:00 am Monday morning and by 4:30 p.m. the job was finished. The crew tore off 2 layers of old roofing, replaced 4 sheets of plywood that had considerable water damage, replaced the collar at the bottom of the chimney and installed the new roof. His crew was very polite and worked almost non-stop to get this done. Their cleanup was impeccable and Sam has provided them with all the modern machinery to do these jobs right. Sam and the DG Contractor team are incredible. I have never worked with a contractor of any kind that took such care and ownership over a project. We used them to replace our roof and gutters and when we found water damage under a broken gutter they went above and beyond to repair it and help us through the issue. The team works so hard and with much efficiency- we had the old roof removed and the new one on in 2 days. Sam came and inspected the work himself and had them redo an issue we couldnâ t even see. Sam is honest, and straightforward, and treats his customers with integrity. We were not only satisfied with our beautiful new roof and gutters, but we were also delighted with the service, communication, and care we experienced throughout the process.
