"FullTime Contractor replaced seven windows in my home, and replaced a double door to the deck, with a slider. "I wholeheartedly recommend Morris Pressure Washing! Isaac Morris had integrity which was evident throughout all my interactions with him and while observing his outstanding work! He cleaned all the caked-on dirt/sludge from our garage floor left over by the snowy winter and then pressure washed the dirt and baked-on worms from our walkway and driveway. I appreciated his friendly demeanor, his desire to listen to my requests and honor them, his very prompt and excellent communication responses via phone, texts, and emails, his research and honesty in finding the best way to clean our epoxy covered garage floor, and his genuine enthusiasm in accomplishing the tasks by going above and beyond my expectations! Casement windows can either be left or right opening, and every window manufacturer makes both so that you can choose which works best for your space. In many cases, you’ll want one left-opening and one right-opening casement window to sit on either side of a picture window or to act as the side panels in a bay window. Just remember that the direction is described from the curb. An FCL (from the curb left) hinges out to the left if you’re looking at the exterior of your home, and an FCR (from the curb right) hinges out to the right.

If your casement windows open upward, they usually have a crank to operate them. Casement windows with side hinges typically operate like a door, opening and closing without a crank.

Finally, make sure your window lock operator is set in the unlocked position and isn’t blocking the window from fully closing. If you’re still having trouble closing your window, it may be worth consulting a local window contractor.

Sometimes, you can buy windows directly from the manufacturer, and it may be cheaper than buying through a third party or wholesaler. Manufacturers may also offer more options, including custom shapes and features, or better warranties if you purchase through them directly.
