Lynden Sheet Metal is a family owned company that has been serving Bellingham and Whatcom County since 1940. We are a multi-faceted company that offers heating and air conditioning, gas fireplace, stoves and inserts, full plumbing department, commercial kitchen and refrigeration work, sheet metal fabrication and welding. We have a full installation and service department. Our crew is experienced and knowledgeable. Being a family business, we treat you as part of our family. We don't sell equipment we wouldn't put in our own homes. We don't have a high pressure sales staff. Our job is to customize a system that best fits your needs, wants and budget. Our primary heating equipment brands that we sell are American Standard and Lennox. However, we do service and repair all brands. For water heaters, we carry Bradford White and Rinnai. Our line of gas fireplaces includes Kozy Heat, Kingsman, Montigo, Blazeking, Enviro and Napoleon.

Right off the bat, Jack and Max (the installers) let my two yappy dogs interrogate them and decide if they were safe to come into my home. They took a few minutes to pet and talk to them which makes for a much quieter and peaceful day. The removal of my old furnace and the installation of the new one was quick, smooth, and done before I expected. Karl had come out and given us a bid previously, he too was interrogated by the dogs, and that was a pleasant experience as well. The price seemed fair, and once we decided to move forward it was a smooth fast process.

I have shopped all the competitors, even on line for a new mini split heat pump. Lynden sheet metal was very honest and up front. From sales to installation everything was exactly as quoted. Tim is an amazing plumber. He always goes the extra distance to make sure everything is just as is should be. He's very up front about what things will cost and conscientious about letting you know all of the options. I feel so good knowing I have a plumber I can trust. I called Lynden Sheet Metal for help with my furnace. The receptionist was very friendly & helpful. Made sure that I was aware of the costs. She scheduled me as soon as possible. The repairman was very prompt & polite. When he found the problems, he made sure that I was aware of what needed to be done & approximate cost. I highly recommend this company for their integrity & attention to customer satisfaction.

We compared prices and LSM was the quickest to get back to us, and they had the lowest price! We did research on the different furnaces offered and saw that they use a cheaper model which was said to be just as high quality for what we needed. They got us in quickly since we were a “no heat” situation and got everything up and running for us.

The tech, Dan, called to say he was running early and asked if he could come earlier than planned, which was fine for us. In addition to performing the service checks on the furnace and hot water heater, he serviced our fireplace. He cleaned the unit and answered a few questions that I had regarding the pilot. He took the time to refresh the 'embers' and polish the front glass, and the fireplace has never looked better than it did when he was done. He seemed to care about his work, and I really appreciated that.
