The control board of my double convection ovens had been failing for some time. A replacement unit is no longer available. One option, $5000 double convection oven replacement. Better option: have the board repaired if possible. I removed the controller and sent it in with my check for $190. It seems that this is their all inclusive price for the service. Fixyourboard.com repaired what was wrong (primarily relays), and even replaced a few of the commonly problematic parts that hadn't already failed but likely would. The work was done within 3 days of their receipt of the controller and the now restored, working unit was returned FEDEX, all for $190. No muss, no fuss. Impressive. You won't find a better bargain anywhere. I have been very happy with the service they provided. They are friendly and professional. I have never felt a repair was recommended when not needed. Dan was very professional, arrived at work site when he said he was going to and did the work he said he would. He also suggested flush mount grills to give floor a more custom look. I would say his assessment was right on and I am glad for the recommendation. as for that I am not sure what...

"My chest freezer broke down and I did not want to buy a new one since I could not afford the same size. I reached out to appliance parts pro and they were confident that what I ordered would fix my problem. $200 in parts later and I now have a broken freezer on my porch and am still paying the loan to this terrible company. They just want you to order parts and try them because they know you can't return them. I hate this company with every fiber of my being and will make sure that anyone that has a broken appliance will not use them. To top it off, their site is so screwed up that it give you an error trying to log back in. I ended up having to create THREE different accounts because every time I went to place a new order, it would not let me login and it would not send a password reset email. DON'T GET RIPPED OFF."

FAQs for grill repair projects in Lopez Island, WA
A few potential problems can cause your gas grill to stop working:
Burners aren’t properly aligned.
Food debris is clogging the burners.
Hose connections may be blocked.
Burners may not be getting enough gas.
Gas valve is not working properly.
If you’re experiencing any of those problems with your gas grill, hire a local grill repair professional to inspect your grill for issues and implement a plan to resolve them.
The cost of a gas grill burner ranges from $10 to $100 or more, depending on the brand. If you’re replacing one burner, consider replacing all the burners simultaneously. Although it will cost more upfront, it will save you the hassle of replacing a burner every few months, and your grill will cook more evenly and efficiently.
While it’s possible to repair minor grill issues like replacing a burner, more serious issues are clear indicators that you need to replace the entire unit. A few signs that your gas grill may be at the end of its life span and it’s time to consider replacing it include:
Rusty or cracked firebox
Weak, yellow, or uneven flames
Flaking, cracking grates
Leaking or cracked propane hoses
Failing igniter
Heavy buildup of grease
If your grill is relatively new or under warranty, it’s worth fixing. If the warranty has run out, find the cost of parts (usually a burner or grate that’s rusted out). If the parts cost more than half the price of a new grill, it’s worth buying a new one.
However, if your gas grill is a built-in unit as part of an outdoor kitchen, contact the grill manufacturer or distributor to check on warranty coverage. You should also contact a local gas grill repair technician to get an estimate for repairs or a price to replace your built-in grill.
On average, a gas grill can last from five to 15 years. Most grill manufacturers offer an extended warranty, varying in coverage and terms. You can help extend the life of your grill by cleaning it inside and out to remove food, grease, and carbon deposits. Protect your gas grill from the elements with a grill cover to prevent it from rusting, lessening the frequency of repairs.
