"Horrible customer service and the product is only getting worse over time. I have ordered 16 shutters from them over 5 separate orders during the last two years. A recent order late last year came with parts missing and getting replacement parts was a hassle because I had to provide pictures. How do you provide pictures of missing parts? My most recent order arrived without the mounting strips and blocking strips being pre-drilled. I received the screws and screw covers but no holes for them. After multiple back and forth with "Angie" from customer service I was forwarded a poorly spelled response from their supplier stating "usually" they don't pre-drill holes. Usually? All of my other shutters over the last two years were pre-drilled. I was then told it was my fault because this order was a single panel shutter vs all my previous orders being dual shutters and I would have to pay to get replacement strips with pre-drilled holes in them. What does a single vs a dual shutter have to do with whether or not holes are drilled in hanging and blocking strips?"

Also, consulting, measuring and installation of your new window coverings is always free!

"My 14 year old silhouette blinds needed cleaning. I wasn't sure whether they would hold up. I checked the Hunter Douglas website and learned that injection/extraction cleaning was recommended for the type of blind I have. The website listed Alko. I called and left a message, Memo got back to me quickly, We set up an appointment to determine if the blinds were in good enough shape to clean. Memo determined they were good to go and explained the technique. He quoted me a price that was similar to another company that would have been using a non recommended technique. He was willing to make a second trip back to pick them up so that I would be without window covering for less time but I told him to go ahead and take them. He actually got them back to me more quickly than I had anticipated and they look great. I highly recommend Alko and Memo is a very pleasant person to deal with."
