"My issue with Guardian is in regard to their Contract and billing philosophy. During my roof repair project, additional damage was uncovered. The Contract clearly stated that additional services would be completed on a time and materials basis. Guardian provided me with an estimate of $9,500 for the additional repair. After hearing that was only an estimate and that I'd be charged only for the time and materials spent, I authorized the additional work. The time spent on site working on the additional repairs was 19 hours. Upon completion of the work, I received an invoice that was opaque and presented little detail for approximately $9,500. An accompanying email indicated the additional repairs required 38 hours. This was ludicrous as the technicians spent a total of 37 hours on site for both the original contract work and the additional repair work. Guardian was in breach of their own Contract by not adhering to time and materials billing for the additional work. "

"Geo came and gave me an estimate on 3 porch post and a beam and sent a contract that defined what needed to be done. Talked to the subcontractors who weren't aware of the conditions or wheather they needed to install post brackets or any other procedures. The subcontractors talked to me about the need to replace concrete surrounding post and I told them, yes replace. Later I reazlized they hadn't neither caulked nor replace necesary concrete. From what I saw, they probably used the wrong type of post brackets for my particular situation. Somebody from Roof4Life needs to check and verify project is done correctly before they let subcontractors leave. They are the experts not me."

We started in 1994, a Contractor/Custom Home Builder, a Banker and a Manufacturing Engineer. We discovered the Solatube brand product through a kitchen remodel and ordered one from the manufacturer, Solatube International, in California. We then proceeded to bring the distribution of Solatube skylights to the state of Washington. Our mission from the beginning was to sell a quality product, at a reasonable price, delivered with great service. We are all about taking care of our customers, we love them and they love the bright light from the Solatube skylight! We have dealers set up throughout the State of Washington. We sell the Solatube installed and as DIY kits to homeowners and also distribute to contractors, roofers and other businesses. Family owned business.
