Guardian Roofing

My issue with Guardian is in regard to their Contract and billing philosophy. During my roof repair project, additional damage was uncovered. The Contract clearly stated that additional services would be completed on a time and materials basis. Guardian provided me with an estimate of $9,500 for the additional repair. After hearing that was only an estimate and that I'd be charged only for the time and materials spent, I authorized the additional work. The time spent on site working on the additional repairs was 19 hours. Upon completion of the work, I received an invoice that was opaque and presented little detail for approximately $9,500. An accompanying email indicated the additional repairs required 38 hours. This was ludicrous as the technicians spent a total of 37 hours on site for both the original contract work and the additional repair work. Guardian was in breach of their own Contract by not adhering to time and materials billing for the additional work.

Guardian Roofing and Gutter promotes the K-Guard gutters and I am very pleased with the look and function. Also, the follow up I received from Guardian"s customer service people was outstanding!!

Excellent communication, kept me informed on status and timing of our roof-cleaning job, and the team was very thorough. They did a full clean-up (our outdoor rug had some dirt on it but we had left it out, so contributory negligence:). Probably could have found a lower bid, but you get what you pay for. They were worth every penny.

Pricey but worth it. Professional outfit.

Julio is a hardworking guy, however itâ s very difficult to communicate with him as he can barely speak English. But overall he knows the craft really well.

Highly professional from the estimator to the installers!

Although I recommended Guardian to a friend who did a very poor job for her repair project. By mistake they also cleaned her roof one week after her house was painted and ruined much of the paint. Company owner was not wanting to correct the problem.
