"Rubin came out to look at the job and discussed an additional job I was considering. He did not send the estimate for the second job, but then did communicate the information to me when he came out to do the first job. Rubin was very professional, personable and a clear communicator. I had purchased and Angie Big Deal of three hours for $99 dollars expecting the job would require an additional 1-2 hours. His estimate and final price came out about what I expected. His work was very good. I will have him back to do the second job of refinishing the walls in the bathroom."

"everything went very well. The trees that we had cut were close to the water pump and our home. He cut the trees and told us where they would land and they landed just where he said. The job was done in less that 2 hours if that. A very good experience and we would hire him again. We would and have recommended him."

"H Morey construction did an amazing job at demolishing and removing my concrete side walk. He was very nice and was straight forward with his pricing. "Company was called because the error codes on the system indicated that the pressure switch was in a stuck open position.  Prior to calling, I replaced the pressure switch but still got the same error codes.  The technician checked out the entire system, cleaned the vacuum lines, and finally got the system working.  Problem appears to be intermittent and non-reproducible.  Technician went back to shop, talked to other technicians to get their opinions and returned the next day.  At that time, he stated that he had run all of the tests that any of them knew of and there was nothing else he could do other than start changing out parts that would cost a lot more and might not solve the problem.  On the day of his return, he also changed out the condensation pump that was failing.  I feel that I got the best service possible for the price and appreciated his not trying to get more money from me by changing additional parts.

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Vinegar will not damage your roof shingles. Using vinegar to wash your roof is an effective and popular cleaning method for asphalt shingles. You can buy white vinegar with varying concentrations of acetic acid. Typically, 5% is all you need for a good roof cleaning, but if you’ve got stubborn stains or moss you can go as high as 25%.

You may become so frustrated with the look of moss on your roof that you contemplate whether to clean or replace your roof. Fortunately, you don’t have to go as far as replacing it. After cleaning the moss, you can use a chemical solution to keep it away. For further protection, trim branches that overhang the roof, as fallen seed pods and leaves on the roof allow moisture to collect, encouraging moss growth. Consider adding zinc-coated flashing to the roof, too. As rain washes across the zinc, it leaves zinc particles behind that inhibit moss growth.

Maintenance involves regular inspection of connections and cables, ensuring they are free from obstructions and functioning correctly to avoid ice buildup.

Complete house winterization goes above and beyond the list we created above. In addition to everything listed, full house winterization also includes:

  • Performing a home energy audit.

  • Preparing your deck and patio for winter.

  • Learning how to start a snowblower.

  • Replacing smoke detector batteries.

  • Installing outlet gaskets.

  • Installing storm doors.

Clean debris, treat for moss, and schedule regular inspections to prevent water damage.
