Mitch helped with my video doorbell, replaced a garage shop light, replaced a fried gfi outlet, and repaired an exterior outlet. He showed up on time, worked quickly, gave options when applicable, and charged very reasonably. You can't ask for more.

This was a lot of hard work. He had to go into the attic and pull wires through to create the new lights. He really knows how to do all things electrical!

Mitch moved our cable, internet, and phone lines to a better location, and he installed 3 phone jacks for land lines in my house. He put the lines right where I wanted them, finishing promptly and even vacuuming up the floor before he left.

I want to speak very highly of the electrician. He did an excellent job. It passed the required inspection with no questions asked. Their price was very fair and in line with everybody else in the area. It was a very challenging thing that had to be done. I intend to use them in the future.

He was polite, punctual, and professional. He was friendly, and offered options and choices. His original visit, to see what needed to be done, was thorough and unrushed. He's now my electrician of choice.

The work was fine. In the beginning Mitch came on time, gave me an estimate, and then came back and did the work. I wanted to change the light switch in my bedroom to a toggle switch…one at the door and one over my bed. He talked me into having the hand held device to change the light on the fan. Eventually I realized that really did not fix my personal problem because if I forget to turn the light off before I get to bed I have to get up and go turn it off. For most people that's okay, but my back is so bad it hurts to get into bed and to get out…which is why I wanted the toggle switch. I calle him back and told him I'd like him to stop by because I wanted to go ahead and get the toggle switch installed. He said he would call me, but he never did. Don't remember if I left another message again, but never did hear from him. One of the motion lights quit working properly, but don't want to call him now. Called another electrician and that didn't work out either.

We needed to have extensive electrical work done in a single bedroom as part of a larger remodel job. The bedroom originally had three wall sconces, all switched individually and differently, but no ceiling light. We wanted the wall sconces and their switches removed and a ceiling light installed, but we were not sure if all our requests could be accommodated. Mitch of Alaskan Electrical was able to get us scheduled with minimal delay. When he arrived, he provided us with options as to what could be done in accordance with building code and considering our desire to minimize drywall repair. Wow, did he deliver! He was able to get a ceiling light installed as we requested, and was able to remove all the ugly existing wall sconces. After he was finished, he then swept up and vacuumed after himself, and took the trash with him. Mitch was personable, knowledgeable, professional, and prompt. His original estimate was very reasonable, but his final bill was lower than the estimate. His invoicing was detailed and complete. We are having him return in a couple of weeks to do some additional work in our utility room.

Said he would be here at 1PM and was on time. Replaced the socket and checked the other outlets. Very professional.

I scheduled Mitch, the owner, to come to a remote cabin to refine the electrical service to the pump house that had been roughed in by the previous owner. He coordinated his work schedule with the plumber that I had hired to install a filtration system and a new pressure tank so the project could be completed in one day. The work was completed quickly and to the satisfaction of the inspector and myself. The work area was clean and neat upon his departure.

We asked Mitch, the owner, to put in electrical outlets in our garage and to put up a special light/chandelier which we had bought. He came by to look over what we wanted and pointed out that we didn't have all the equipment needed for the electrical outlet strip in the garage, but that he could stop by Home Depot to pick it up. Then he pointed out that if we put the light where we wanted it, the door might hit it. He said he could do the job, but again we didn't have the chandelier correctly wired for what we wanted. He then pointed to a much easier - and far better - solution.
Mitch arrived promptly on the day he said he would and went to work on the garage. He worked quickly and professionally and we got exactly what we wanted. It took him two hours to do the work, plus he'd had to go to Home Depot to get the extra material. Also, it was snowing out and he worked in a freezing garage with the door open, no complaints! He could have put us off until warmer weather, but he did the job when agreed upon (he really is Alaskan!).
As for the light we wanted him to put up, we went with his suggestions, which my husband was able to do himself (Mitch had already told him what he needed to do). Our light is hanging beautifully in a better spot. Mitch could have just done what we asked originally and gotten paid a lot of money for it, but instead he made a simple recommendation which my husband took care of, thus saving us money.
We were charged for 2 hours of labor and $27 for materials. It could have been much more money for Mitch, but he was honest and helpful and saved us money.

Mitch showed up to diagnose some wall heater issues. One heater failed to work, while 1 heater would turn on and off continuously and never reach a set temp. Mitch discovered various issues with how things were wired and also discovered one heater was toast. He ordered a heater and returned in a few days to make the repairs and swap out. His work was beautiful from start to finish and the price was very affordable.
