"Nick was very professional and did excellent work. The quality of his work was very apparent. He was proud of his work and definitely should be. The house turned out beautifully even though he needed to do some leveling and some actual floor rebuilding. He was willing to go the distance. I would recommend Nick to anybody who values quality work."

"Pad for lawn statue went well. Leveling area beneath garage door, i.e., sill, didn't go as I had hoped. I originally felt grinding-down high area was best solution, but Contractor tried applying a leveling grout, which didn't solve problem. The grout began to crumble when vehicle was driven over it after letting it harden for several days. Attempted to reach Contractor several times via phone and text message to see if problem with sill leveling could be corrected, but no response."

"He built a special pergola to be able to support a wisteria. It is perfect he did a great job. Got it all done in record time working in cold, windy and even in the dark. Put some extra touches on the pergola to make it beautiful.. I would highly recommend them. He is fast, fair priced and listens to what you want then will make suggestion to make it better or do exactly what you want. I would suggest to talk to him he has great ideas. Would be a great resource if you are just starting a project."

"The deck was built better, stronger, more beautiful than promised. Despite the challenge of saving a trumpet vine, the work was done quickly, efficiently, and for a reasonable price. It is the best looking and strongest deck on the block. The owner and carpenters were great to work with, friendly and professional."

While the terms deck and porch are often used interchangeably, they are two distinct home features. Porches offer a roof that protects from the elements when coming and going from the house. Generally, porches are on the front of your home. On the other hand, decks are generally built in the backyard of a home and offer no roof or protection from the elements, like rain or snow. Porches typically require less maintenance and upkeep thanks to the roof, but both features require regular cleaning and repairs to maintain good condition.
It might seem counterintuitive, but the best time to install a paver patio is during late fall to winter. The cold and wet weather of those seasons can help your patio installer perfect the foundation for your patio. Plus, you'll likely be able to find better sales and deals during the colder months when patio installation business is typically slower. Consult a local patio paver professional to determine the best time to install based on your area’s climate.
The cost to build a deck is $8,025 on average. However, this cost can range anywhere from $1,500 to $22,000, depending on multiple factors, such as size, materials, and deck type. You can expect to pay $30 to $60 per square foot when building a new deck.
Cedar decks are often the most cost-effective option, ranging from $4 to $9 per square foot for materials. However, pressure-treated decking, which is resistant to rot, is more expensive, ranging from $15 to $25 per square foot for materials.
A paver patio can last anywhere from 20 to 100 years, depending on the type of pavers and how well you maintain them.
Travertine pavers are usually the most durable, lasting 100 years or more, with regular maintenance. Concrete brick pavers have a variety of shapes and colors available and typically last 25 to 50 years. Traditional brick pavers have a more classic look, lasting around 20 years with proper maintenance.
The cost of a paver patio is $3,800 for a 280-square-foot patio on average. Depending on the patio size, paver material, and design complexity, this cost can range from $2,400 to $7,000 or more.
The size of your patio is a significant factor in the project’s overall cost. If you're building a smaller patio of only 60 square feet, your costs will be closer to $480 to $1,500. If you want a more luxurious 900-square-foot patio, you'll spend closer to $7,200 to $22,500.
