Nick was very professional and did excellent work. The quality of his work was very apparent. He was proud of his work and definitely should be. The house turned out beautifully even though he needed to do some leveling and some actual floor rebuilding. He was willing to go the distance. I would recommend Nick to anybody who values quality work.

Nick, the owner of Brandon's Floor Covering is the best contractor we have ever worked with. He is meticulous, clever and thorough. We would come up with an idea and he could run with or add his professional opinion. H laid most of our 1900 sql house in laminate and tiled a fireplace, laundry room and two bathrooms. Every room came out looking fabulous. As a general contractor, Nick is a wealth of knowledge about home construction and repair. He noted a window that was loose and talked us through what was needed for a repair. He had insights on our roof after we noted a leak during the terrible winter we had. I believe when you have work done by Nick you leave with a great job and a good friend. I would highly recommend Brandon's Floor Covering for all tile and flooring needs.

I have use Nick LaFlamme on two occasions to install carpet. He saved me over $200.00 the first time and over $500.00 on the recent carpet installation at my home. Nick's integrity, professionalism, and high standards in my opinion makes him one of the top installers for carpet, tile and flooring. Nick will be the first person I call when I need any type of flooring, tile or carpet installed.

Nick did an awesome job installing our vinyl plank flooring. He was very courteous and professional, as well. Nick LaFlamme is a perfectionist. He makes sure things are done right. I am already making a list of other jobs I would like him to do. I highly recommend him. He takes pride in his work. All around nice guy. He laid almost 1,200 square feet of flooring, after tearing up all the old flooring and lots of prep work. He went out of his way to make sure floors were laid to the specifications of the warrantee. He laid glass mosaic backsplash. Fixed a hole in the drywall and textured and painted.

The service provided exceeded my expectations. Nick was very easy to talk to, and very good at explaining the processes throughout getting new floors. Our job required 3 different types of flooring; carpet, tile, and laminate. Nick installed all of it by himself and did a fantastic job. He also helped fix minor things around our house and no extra charge. example under out kitchen sink had water damage. he ripped out the bottom of the cabinet and replaced everything free of charge. He was also very helpful with walking me through how to remove our appliances such as hot water heater, and dishwasher. Overall I am very satisfied with the work provided, and would recommend him to anyone I know.

Nick did an outstanding job! He is a true professional in every sense of the word - knowledge, craftsmanship, attention to detail, and quality of work. Nick was a pleasure to work with. He's honest, knowledgeable, and was a great help in guiding us to the right product for our needs. He also sanded and repainted some damaged baseboards--a job which was added after our first commitment, and he still finished the job on time.

Nick LaFlamme removed the wall-to-wall carpeting and pad and spent a few hours preparing the underlayment (re-working the many nails/screws that were sticking up and sanding so that the finished floor would be level) on the first day. On days 2-4 he installed the new flooring and either replaced the existing baseboards or re-cut and installed new ones. I really appreciate Nick's attention to detail, particularly the "extras" that one can't see (such as the work required on the underlayment to ensure a level floor) and replacing existing pieced baseboards with single lengths when the material to do so was readily available. He also hauled away (to Habitat for Humanity?) the carpeting that was removed. In my opinion, Nick's work demonstrates the value of paying a professional to do a job, rather than DIY by amatuers. I expect these wood floors to be level and look good 15 years from now.

My son and I were installing laminate flooring in his house and had reached a critical point in the job that had us unsure of a path forward. We called Nick from Brandon's Floor Covering to see if he could either give us a quote on finishing the job for us or just pay him a consultation fee for getting us going in the right direction. Nick came over and spent over an hour showing us how to proceed on the unfinished area as well as some recommended corrections we should make to the completed sections. His advice kept us from spending hundreds of dollars on self-leveling compound as he showed us other floor-leveling options. Nick also gave us a "Flooring 101" tutorial that was very helpful! When I tried to pay Nick for his time, he kindly refused my offer. I was floored (pun intended) by his generosity and will never forget his kindness. He's been doing this for over 20 years, which means that his expertise might possibly save you enough money on materials to cover the cost of his services.

He was extremely knowledgeable and informative. We could tell he was very experienced and knew his craft. He described all of the details of the job. We were happy to know he would take care of any issues or surprises that would arise. The end result was fantastic. We were extremely happy with his work and attention to detail.

The kitchen looks fabulous! There were a few timing hiccups along the way, but nothing that Nick didn't walk us through. Nick's attention to detail is excellent; the finishing work proved that. We think Chip and Jo would appreciate how our kitchen turned out--demolished down to the studs and built back to a functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen. We highly recommend his work! Our family came to know him well during this months long process. Not only would we rehire him to do other work in our house, but we would also sit down to dinner with him.

To begin with, Nick LaFlamme is a consummate craftsman and professional. He begins by listening and talking to his clients to make sure he provides them the product and the installation/ construction they envision. He is punctual, thorough, and always maintains/leaves an immaculate work space. For the cost of a general contractor/installer, a client receives the craftsmanship of a master cabinet maker and carpenter. We have received countless compliments on our business display cases, and I can honestly say that his work on our home added nearly $30,000.00 to the proceeds of our home sale (over twice the cost of his services.)

Nick did an extremely good job on everything that he did, always going above and beyond what I expected. He had to level the floors in the room where the laminate flooring was placed. The porcelin tile that he put in the dining room is stunning. He recommended that we have it layed subway style, good choice, it really catches the eye. The other two rooms, he installed carpeting for me, he made sure that I knew about, and was able to choose the direction for the carpeting, so that when the carpet is walked on that the pile would lay the way that I wanted it to. Nick made sure that I knew all of the ins and outs of each job that he did. He did a few extra things for me, he reinstalled some tiles on my kitchen counter that had come loose, I was going to use liquid nails to put it back on, but he put it on correctly. He also helped me (actually, I helped him) put my microwave/vent combination back up. I had taken it down because it was going to be replaced. Without further details, we couldn't have it installed. Nick offered, without being asked, if I wanted him to put it back up. Another thing that Nick did, which was absolutely not in the realm of my expectations, was to make himself available to let some contractors in for me when I had a cancelled flight. I had scheduled three other contractors to come on a day that I was arriving from southern California. I told Nick that I couldn't make it until the next day, he scheduled the time to be there in order to let the contrators in. I have nothing but praise for Nick and the job that he does.

I hired Nick of Brandon's Floor Covering to install wood plank laminate flooring, base molding and premium vinyl squares into my 11-year-old suburban house.  Since the wood flooring was replacing carpeting, it was important that the subfloor be level and in good condition. Neither one of these conditions was true in my house. Nick did considerable preparation work, including screwing in an innumerable number of protruding screws and sanding the entire 900 sq. ft. of sub-floor, before he began the actual installation.  I bought a good quality wood flooring.  The resulting wooden floor is beautiful.   I hope that the combination of good floor preparation, good quality materials, good installation, and adequate maintenance will keep this floor beautiful for many years.
Nick also installed 300 sq. ft. of premium vinyl squares in my kitchen, laundry room, and bathroom.  I don't believe the installation of this flooring required extensive preparation work because it was being glued over existing sheet vinyl.  The resulting floor looks somewhat stone-like.  Again, I am very satisfied with Nick's installation.
 
Nick installed wooden base molding and door stops in all of the areas where he had installed new flooring.  He also hung the door jambs, trim, and doors for a set of French doors.  I was especially pleased at the hanging of the French doors.  The Company I bought the doors from had originally hung the doors so that only one door opened and closed freely.  After a verbal altercation with a representative of that Company, I fired them from the job and hired Nick instead.  As it turned out, Nick did an outstanding job re-hanging the French doors.
My conclusion: Nick of Brandon's Floor Covering did an outstanding job installing wood plank laminate flooring, base molding, and premium vinyl squares in my house.  I would heartily endorse his services.

They did a wonderful job and they were fantastic.They did an excellent job and we'll definitely use them again. We had some stuff that they have to undercut and to put the flooring underneath and we're getting some tile in another place and they did really well. They were great. It was somewhat a different quoted job and they handled it very well. The price was worth the quality of the work.

The job began with our purchasing some materials from a local home improvement store. The store strongly recommended Brandon's Floor Coverings for the laminate installation, since they were one of the only factory certified installers for the laminate. We made an appointment to meet the installer and have him look over the job.
From the first meeting we knew we were in good hands. Brandon's showed us how to save money without sacrificing quality or appearance on materials we were purchasing. The installer also explained the need for the additional prep work he was willing to do or said he would show us how to do it if we wanted to save money and do it ourselves. (We had Brandon's do the work.)
Next came scheduling. Brandon's was flexible around our living needs and coordinated the planning out of the different phases of the work with those in mind. It WAS NOT a case of and quot;Here is our schedule; we can do you now or never.and quot; They worked with us.
As they moved from room to room, they helped with moving furniture, etc; and, as I said, did exceptional work, right down to final trimming, vacuuming and polishing.
Last of all, we have five cats--cats that hate to have strangers in their space. Brandon's was very careful to make sure they did not get out and did not have any more stress than was absolutely needed. I felt as if they were treating my home as their own.
