They didn't have to do that! They also purchased the hinges I required after recognizing that I didn't have a clue and had picked up the incorrect ones! I gave them full access without being home and they left things clean and with a note for me, locked up and the company followed up with a call. Very pleased. They will be back to do my floors."

Vinegar won’t strip the wood stain from your wood, but it can help remove a different type of stain. If you’re dealing with food stains or trying to remove water rings on your wood, you can use a little olive oil and vinegar (mixed equally) to remove those stains without stripping your actual wood stain. Just rub the solution in the direction of the wood grain, let it sit, and then wipe it away with a damp towel.

It’s important to sand your cabinets before you paint them so that your paint job will hold. However, in some cases, you might be able to skip the sanding. While some DIYers prefer to use only deglosser when painting cabinets, using sandpaper when possible saves money, and some deglossers may not work as well on laminate surfaces.

If you want to spray paint your cabinets without sanding, you have a few options to rough up the kitchen cabinet surface before priming. First, you can try using mineral spirits and a rough sponge on the cabinet surface to give it some grit for the primer. The second option is to use liquid sandpaper on the cabinet surface so it deglosses the finish and will be ready for primer.
