"I was concerned about the freezing temperatures and making sure my sprinkler system didn't have frozen pipes. Roger was able to squeeze us into his schedule within 2 days when our regular service could not come for another 3 weeks.. He was very communicative when he was going to arrive and did a great job. Thank you so much Roger!!"

"I had a pretty straightforward re-roof. They were very patient with me while I was indecisive about what color I wanted for shingles. They sent out enough workers to rip off all old shingles, replace some plywood as needed, and add a whole new roof in just a day and a half. I was shocked at the speed and efficiency. I didn’t see any corners cut. The roof looks great, they used high quality materials, they cleaned up pretty well, my plants were protected, and the whole process was quick and smooth. Plus a price which was thousands cheaper than the competition. Shockingly it wasn’t too good to be true! I will be recommending Cloud to my friends and neighbors."

"Francisco did a great job! I couldn't believe how much work he got done in a such a short amount of time. He went above and beyond what I thought he would cover and be able to get done for the job I had asked for."

Snow Removal questions, answered by experts

When starting the engine, you typically leave the choke on a snowblower in the "choke" or "closed" position. After starting, let the engine run for a few minutes to warm up. Then, gradually open the choke, moving it to the "open" or "run" position, allowing more air into the engine and transitioning to a normal fuel-air mixture. The exact duration varies based on the snowblower model and ambient temperature, but as a general rule, you should open the choke once the engine has stabilized and runs smoothly, typically within a few minutes.

While removing every snowflake from your roof is unnecessary, you should remove a significant buildup of snow. Since snow is wet and heavy, it can easily cause damage to your roof, which can lead to needing costly repairs.

Additionally, when the snow melts but has nowhere to go and refreezes, it can create an ice dam, causing mold concerns due to water leaking into your attic and ceiling. For these reasons, it’s best to hire a snow removal professional to clear heavy snowfall from your roof as soon as possible.

Yes, many companies offer convenient options to accommodate service timing needs.

Ice dam removal costs anywhere from $650 to $2,000, with most people paying about $1,200 for this service. The price you pay will depend on a few factors, including the removal method. If your pro uses salt or tablets to get rid of the ice dams, you might only pay $200 to $300. But if they use steam, your costs could increase to $800 to $1,200.

If you do end up with frozen gutters, it's important to thaw them correctly. Thawing your gutters slowly is far safer than trying to break apart the ice. Once you get through the ice, bring in a gutter professional to check out the effectiveness of your heated system.
