"I recently enlisted the services of Robert from Top Notch Junk Removal and Hauling for the removal of several items, including a hot tub, dining chairs, and a clothes washer. Robert conducted himself with professionalism throughout the process. He was courteous, efficient, and completed the job close to the estimated time frame of a couple of hours. The work was carried out with efficiency and the site was left in a clean state upon completion. Robert’s ability to complete the task effectively and his attention to detail were commendable. I would recommend Top Notch Junk Removal and Hauling for their reliable service and professional conduct."

"Miller and his colleagues were able to do a lot of things quickly. Along with everything else, they also grabbed some old furniture that I needed help moving to the curb. They took several cares to make sure nothing was damaged during the move, including wrapping the furniture, turning off all the lights, and packaging the picture frames."

Hauling questions, answered by experts

Costs depend on debris volume, labor, transport fees, and any additional disposal services needed.

In some areas, tipping garbage and recycling workers around the holidays is a kind and common practice. Tipping between $20 and $50 once a year is a kind gesture for a team you've gotten to know or who does an exemplary job. While tipping junk haulers and waste management pros is not expected, it is a great way to show your appreciation.

No, you can’t throw your trash in any dumpster you come across—in fact, that’s considered illegal dumping, and you could be fined for it. Use your own household trash cans, and rent a dumpster for a large volume of waste. Alternatively, take it to the landfill yourself or hire a trash hauling service.

Most cement companies will haul away old concrete from your property, but they typically charge extra for the service. Expect to pay as low as $250 for haul-away services or an average of $1,100 to demolish and haul away a concrete landscaping feature. You should also confirm with your company that you want these added services, as they’ll need to bring additional equipment and machinery to dismantle the concrete and relocate it to a disposal site. It’s a good idea to have the concrete company handling the new concrete project do this work to save some money.

You can try reselling excess pavers online or offering them for free if someone wants to come take them. If you’re in a rush, you can look for a local recycling company to haul the pavers away. Another option is to reuse the excess pavers in another part of your yard. Depending on the size, pavers make good edging materials for garden beds or stepping stones for a simple paver walkway.
